بَابُ تَخْفِيفِ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالنَّاسِ مَعَ إِتْمَامِهَا
Chapter on the Prophet's lightening the prayer for the people while completing it
Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 2564 — on the Prophet's lightening the prayer
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَوْتَ صَبِيٍّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَخَفَّفَ الصَّلَاةَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that (one day) the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard the sound of a child (crying) during the prayer, so he shortened the prayer because of this.
