Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 2023 — on the Two Prostrations in Surah Al-Hajj

اردو

عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! أَفُضِّلَتْ سُورَةُ الْحَجِّ عَلَى سَائِرِ الْقُرْآنِ بِسَجْدَتَيْنِ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْجُدْهُمَا فَلَا يَقْرَأْهُمَا

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Has Surah Al-Hajj been given superiority over the rest of the Qur'an because of its two prostrations?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes, and whoever does not perform these prostrations should not recite it."
