(زَادَ فِي رِوَايَةٍ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: أَتَعْرِفُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ وَثِيَابُهُ عَلَى الْمِشْجَبِ
(Second chain) Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: Do you recognize Abu Hurairah, that he would pray in a single garment while he had more clothes hanging on a peg (hanger).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The intention of Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu is that even when another garment is available, it is permissible to perform prayer (salah) in a single garment.
