عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ الْمَسَاجِدَ فِي دِيَارِنَا وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُنَظِّفَهَا
Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to build mosques in our neighborhoods and to keep them clean and pure.
