عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى وَيُقَالُ لَهُ إِسْرَائِيلُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَحَسَنٌ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ مَعَهُ وَهُوَ يُقْبِلُ عَلَى النَّاسِ مَرَّةً وَعَلَيْهِ مَرَّةً وَيَقُولُ ”إِنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ وَلَعَلَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنْ يُصْلِحَ بِهِ بَيْنَ فِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) seated on the pulpit and Sayyiduna Hasan (peace be upon him) was with him. The Prophet would look once towards the people and once at him, and would say: "This son of mine is a leader, and it is hoped that Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, will bring reconciliation between two groups of Muslims through him."
