عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ ”اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا وَاهْدِ بِهِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Umairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), mentioning Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), said: O Allah! Make him a rightly guided guide and grant guidance to people through him.
