Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 11878 — on What Has Been Narrated Regarding Qurrāh
حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي أَيَّاسٍ يَعْنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ يَعْنِي قُرَّةَ بْنَ أَيَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَعَا لَهُ وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ
Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Qurrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father Sayyiduna Qurrah bin Iyas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he went to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet supplicated for him and passed his hand over his head.
