Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 11773 — on What Has Been Narrated Regarding
وَعَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَسَّانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ بُسْرٍ الْمَازِنِيَّ يَقُولُ تَرَوْنَ يَدِي هَذِهِ فَأَنَا بَايَعْتُ بِهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْكُمْ“
It is narrated from Yahya bin Hassan, he says: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr Mazni (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: You are seeing this hand of mine; with this hand I pledged allegiance to the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not fast on Saturday except for what is obligatory.
