Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 11606 — on What Has Been Reported Regarding
عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِقَلِيلٍ أَوْ بِشَهْرٍ ”مَا مِنْ نَفْسٍ مَنْفُوسَةٍ أَوْ مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ الْيَوْمَ مَنْفُوسَةٍ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ وَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ حَيَّةٌ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said approximately one month before his passing: Today, from among all the souls present on the face of the earth, not a single one of them will remain alive after one hundred years.
