عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الصُّنَابِحِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((لَنْ تَزَالَ أُمَّتِي فِي مُسْكَةٍ مَا لَمْ يَعْمَلُوا بِثَلَاثٍ، مَا لَمْ يُؤَخِّرُوا الْمَغْرِبَ بِانْتِظَارِ الْإِظْلَامِ مُضَاهَاةَ الْيَهُودِ، وَمَا لَمْ يُؤَخِّرُوا الْفَجْرَ إِمْحَاقَ النُّجُومِ مُضَاهَاةَ النَّصَارَى، وَمَا لَمْ يَكِلُوا الْجَنَائِزَ إِلَى أَهْلِهَا))
Sayyiduna Abu Abdur Rahman Sanabahi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My Ummah will always remain upon goodness as long as it does not do these three things: delaying Maghrib prayer while waiting for darkness in imitation of the Jews, delaying Fajr prayer until the stars disappear in imitation of the Christians, and handing over the funeral to its family.
