عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا جَعَلَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُرْدَةً سَوْدَاءَ مِنْ صُوفٍ فَذَكَرَ سَوَادَهَا وَبَيَاضَهَا فَلَبِسَهَا فَلَمَّا عَرِقَ وَجَدَ رِيحَ الصُّوفِ قَذَفَهَا وَكَانَ يُحِبُّ الرِّيحَ الطَّيِّبَةَ
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that she made a black woolen cloak for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then she mentioned the blackness of the cloak and the fairness of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wore that cloak. When he perspired and sensed the smell of wool, he took it off and threw it away. In fact, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked cleanliness and good fragrance.
