بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي لِبَاسِهِ ﷺ وَزِينَةٍ
Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding His ﷺ Clothing and Adornment
Al-Fath ar-Rabbani 11337 — on What Has Been Reported Regarding His ﷺ
(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُضْطَبِعًا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ بِبُرْدٍ لَهُ نَجْرَانِيٍّ
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) between Safa and Marwah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed idtiba‘ (exposing the right shoulder) with a prepared mantle from Najran.
