عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ دَخَلَ عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ حِصْنٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَآهُ يُقَبِّلُ حَسَنًا أَوْ حُسَيْنًا فَقَالَ لَهُ لَا تُقَبِّلْهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ وُلِدَ لِي عَشَرَةٌ مَا قَبَّلْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”إِنَّ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ“
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sayyiduna ‘Uyaynah bin Hisn (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was kissing Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) or Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: O Messenger of Allah! Do not kiss this child; I have had ten children born to me, and I have not kissed any one of them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever does not show mercy to others, mercy is not shown to him.
