عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَمْ يَكُنْ فَاحِشًا وَلَا مُتَفَحِّشًا وَكَانَ يَقُولُ مِنْ خِيَارِكُمْ أَحْسَنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was neither habitually nor deliberately foul-mouthed, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: The best among you is the one who is best in character.
