عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِشَيْءٍ يُعْطَاهُ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا فَلَا يُمْسِي حَتَّى يَكُونَ الْإِسْلَامُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ وَأَعَزَّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man would come to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for a worldly thing, and it would be given to him, but before evening had fallen, Islam would become more beloved and dear to him than the world and all that is in it.
