عَنْهَا أَيْضًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ إِنْ كَانَ لَيُوحَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَتَضْرِبُ بِجِرَانِهَا
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) also narrates that when revelation would descend upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and he was on his mount, it would lower its neck to the ground.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would be mounted on a she-camel and revelation would descend upon him, the she-camel too would feel the weight due to the descent of revelation. In order to lighten this burden, she would stretch her neck down to the ground.
