(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ طَيْسَلَةَ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْنُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ الْمَازِنِيُّ وَالْحَيُّ بَعْدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَعْشَى الْمَازِنِيُّ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَنْشَدْتُهُ : «يَامَالِكَ النَّاسِ وَدَيَّانَ الْعَرَبْ!
اِنِّيْ لَقِيْتُ ذِرْبَةً مِنَ الذِّرَبْ
غَدَوْتُ اَبْغِيْهَا الطَّعَامَ فِيْ رَجَبْ
فَخَلَفَتْـنِيْ بِنِـزَاعٍ وَهَـَربْ»
اِنِّيْ لَقِيْتُ ذِرْبَةً مِنَ الذِّرَبْ
غَدَوْتُ اَبْغِيْهَا الطَّعَامَ فِيْ رَجَبْ
فَخَلَفَتْـنِيْ بِنِـزَاعٍ وَهَـَربْ»
(Second chain) A’sha says: I came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and recited these verses:
O Master of the people and the one who has prevailed over the Arabs! I have encountered a treacherous woman from among the treacherous women.
I set out in Rajab to bring her grain, but in the case of dispute and escape, she became my deputy.
She broke her promise and tucked in her tail; she is the worst in overpowering the one whom she overpowers.
