Al-Adab al-Mufrad 777 — Building
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَبْنِيَ النَّاسُ بُيُوتًا يُوشُونَهَا وَشْيَ الْمَرَاحِيلِ“، قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ: يَعْنِي الثِّيَابَ الْمُخَطَّطَةَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until people make their houses like striped cloaks." Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) says that this means like striped sheets.
