بَابُ لَا تُتْرَكُ النَّارُ فِي الْبَيْتِ حِينَ يَنَامُونَ

Al-Adab al-Mufrad 1224 — Do not leave fire burning at night
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”لَا تَتْرُكُوا النَّارَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ حِينَ تَنَامُونَ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not leave fire burning in your houses when you go to sleep."
