حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ صَرْفَ الْكَلَامِ لِيَسْبِيَ بِهِ قُلُوبَ الرِّجَالِ أَوِ النَّاسِ ، لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: On the Day of resurrection Allah will not accept repentance or ransom from him who learns excellence of speech to captivate thereby the hearts of men, or of people.
