حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، قَالَ : " لَتَمْخُرَنَّ الرُّومُ ، الشَّامَ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا ، لَا يَمْتَنِعُ مِنْهَا إِلَّا دِمَشْقَ ، وَعَمَّانُ " .
Makhul said: The Romans will enter Syria and stay there for forty days, and no place will be saved from them but Damascus and 'Uman.
