Chapter: Regarding eating the vermin of the land.
Sunan Abu Dawud 3798 — Regarding eating the vermin of the land
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ، حَدَّثَنَا غَالِبُ بْنُ حَجْرَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مِلْقَامُ بْنُ التَّلِبِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " صَحِبْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ لِحَشَرَةِ الْأَرْضِ تَحْرِيمًا " .
Narrated at-Talabb ibn Thalabah at-Tamimi: I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but I did not hear about the prohibition of (eating) insects and little creatures of land.
