Sunan Abu Dawud 2989 — The Division Of The Khumus And The Share
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ،عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ ، قَالَ : وَلَمْ يُخْدِمْهَا .
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ali bin Hussain through a different chain of narrators. This version adds “He (the Prophet) did not provide her with a slave. ”
