12- Easy Books Written on Aqeedah
Alhamdulillah, there are many books available in both brief and detailed formats regarding the correct beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. The shortest and easiest books are: ① “Usool Thalatha”. ② “Kashf al-Shubuhat”. ③ “Kitab al-Tawheed”, and all three of these books are authored by Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, may Allah have mercy on him. “Fath al-Majeed” and “قرة عيون الموحدين” are both commentaries on Kitab al-Tawheed and are authored by the virtuous Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hasan, may Allah have mercy on him.
“Aqeedah al-Wasitiyyah” by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, is a brief and easy book regarding Aqeedah. Similarly, “Sharh Aqeedah Tahawiyyah” by Ibn Abi al-Izz al-Hanafi is also available. The fatwas of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, contain excellent material regarding Aqeedah. Likewise, the collection of fatwas and letters of the scholars of Najd is published under the name “الدرر السنية“. Also, “إغاثة اللهفان“, the Qasida Nuniyyah, and “الصواعق المرسلة على الجهمية و المعطلة” by Allama Ibn Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, are very excellent books.
