وروى قيس بن طلق عن أبيه قال: خرجنا وفدا حتى قدمنا على رسول الله صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فبايعناه وصلينا معه فلما قضى الصلاة؛ جاءه رجل كأنه بدوي فقال: يا رسول الله ما ترى في رجل مس ذكره وهو فى الصلاة فقال: ( (وهل وهو إلا مضغة منك أو بضعة منك ))
Qais bin Talq narrated from his father that our delegation set out until we came to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. We gave him the pledge of allegiance and prayed with him. After the prayer was completed, a man came to him who appeared to be a Bedouin. He said: O Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion about a person who touches his private parts while he is in prayer? He said: “This is a part of your body,” or he said, “This is a piece of your body.”
Abu Dawood: Some have authenticated it, and some have disputed it.

وعن أبى هريرة أن رسول الله صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قال: ( (من أقضى بيده إلى فرجه ليس دونها حجاب ، فقد وجب عليه الوضوء ))
Narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: Whoever touches his private parts without any barrier, wudu becomes obligatory upon him. A group of muhaddithin narrated it, including Abu Ali ibn al-Sakan and Umar ibn Abd al-Barr.

Benefits:
➊ The private part can be touched in two ways:
(1) Through clothing
(2) Naked.
If the private part is covered by clothing, wudu is absolutely not broken. But if it is touched in a lustful manner, wudu is broken. This is a critique. Touching the naked private part breaks wudu unanimously. Performing wudu is obligatory.
➋ It is also established from this that the private part can be touched because it is also a part of the body. However, it is preferable to use the left hand to touch it, and also to use the left hand when urinating.
