The Collapse of Capitalism and Modern Humanity

◈ Capitalism and the Philosophy of Modern Fundamental Rights

The system of capitalism and the philosophy behind modern fundamental rights have produced a type of human who, having forgotten God and the Prophet ﷺ, has made money his sole objective. This person remains constantly engaged in accumulating wealth for the sake of fulfilling his desires and pleasures.

Western philosophy and scientific advancement have accepted greed and lust as collective values, resulting in the emergence of a “satanic being.”

◈ The Modern Human’s Attitude and the Issue of Hunger

The modern human shows no concern that people are dying of hunger around the world. Millions have died of starvation in North Korea, and famine has claimed countless lives in African countries. Yet, despite all modern scientific advancements, these people could not be provided with food grains. The reason was simple: they did not have money, and the modern capitalist mindset is unwilling to provide free assistance.

✔ Modern economics, through the law of “supply and demand,” has inflated the prices of grain.
✔ The free market economy, monopolies, and the very nature of capitalism compel humans to chase only maximum profit.
✔ Modern science has increased production, but it has also magnified human greed and desire far beyond that.

◈ Famine, Suicides, and Capitalism

According to the World Bank, the World Food Organization, and other institutions, food production in the world is at a historic peak. Despite this, the issue of hunger and famine continues to escalate. This raises some important questions:

① When production exceeds human needs, why is hunger still rampant?
② Why are people committing suicide?

For the first time in human history, modern man has transformed production from a service to humanity into a means of fulfilling personal desires. The capitalist system exploits the necessities of people to extract maximum profit — even if it means pushing the world’s poor into deeper misery.

◈ Nationalism and the Barrier of Borders

Modern nationalism has confined human beings within the boundaries of nation-states. During famines, people wish to migrate from one country to another, but national borders obstruct their path.

✔ During famine in Africa, people were shot dead at borders.
✔ Palestinian refugees were prevented from entering Egypt.
✔ Refugees from Syria and Burma were left to drown at sea, and no one came to their aid.

This behavior stems from Western nationalism, which emphasizes protecting resources for oneself and disregards the fundamental principles of humanity.

◈ Hospitality in Historical Context

In the 21 civilizations of history, there was no restriction on a person traveling from one region to another. Hospitality was considered a duty. Seekers of knowledge could travel from one continent to another, and the locals would take care of their food and lodging.

During the era of the Islamic Caliphate, there were no restrictions on migration. People could move from one area to another due to famine or other reasons, and the local population would assist them.

◈ Modern Economy and Moral Decline

The modern capitalist system has destroyed ethics and humanity.

✔ In 2007, despite a bumper wheat crop in Pakistan, a wheat crisis occurred.
✔ The excuse given was an issue of “supply and demand,” but in reality, it was a matter of hoarding and a lack of integrity.
✔ In capitalist societies, human relationships are based on interests, not love or compassion.

◈ Enlightenment and the Reality of Modern Man

Contemporary intellectuals claim this is the best era in human history. However, the truth is that this is the most cruel and brutal era in human history.

✔ Capitalism has turned man into a beast, whose ethics are confined to self-indulgence and pleasure-seeking.
✔ This system has imposed itself upon the world while trampling over human values.
