Thus, when the Ahl-e-Tawheed, Ahl-e-Hadith scholars forbade people from these polytheistic matters and called out to them, “Brothers! Refrain from shirk, come towards the Oneness of Allah,” they started making noise. They began shouting and screaming,
Ashraf Jalali Barelvi Sahib says:
We are oppressed, we have become the practice of cruelty, arrows are being shot at this statement of ours and at our beliefs, we are called polytheists and fatwas of shirk are issued against us. Today we are sitting to defend ourselves, we have come to tell that the inheritors of Tawheed were us yesterday and we are still so today.
We found the belief in Tawheed in the valley,
It is not possible to erase our faith from the heart.
Answer, Hazrat Ji!
If you are followers of Tawheed, then tell me, whose creation is this Mango Peer? Whose creation is this Hajj happening in Kazakhstan? Who started the circumambulation of graves? Who initiated the practice of calling out at graves? Who started the worship at the graves of elders in the Ummah? And what does not happen at shrines, take a glimpse: the shrine of Ibn Shah, there your disciples do what they do and our eyes witness your Peer’s deeds. Anyone can watch it on YouTube. Who did this? Who are the ones promoting this entire business? You call yourselves followers of Tawheed. So listen! By the way, it is very strange. There has always been this accusation against Ahl al-Hadith that the word Tawheed is neither in Hadith nor in the Quran. The word Tawheed was invented by the Wahhabis. Iqtadar Ahmad Naeemi Sahib writes in his book Shari’i Istifta
:
“The Wahhabis invented seven (7) words themselves. They introduced them into their religion which are not mentioned in the Quran or Hadith, and among these seven words the first word is Tawheed which they fabricated. And if the word Tawheed is found in the books of the Sufis, it is because the Wahhabis wrote it there. Actually, this word has no basis, no proof can be given for it, it is neither in the Quran nor in the Hadith.”
I say, respected sir! The word Tawheed is not fabricated by the Wahhabis. The Wahhabis’ great Imam is what Muhammad Rasulullah ﷺ taught. You say no proof can be given, I am a humble servant of the belief of Tawheed, I give you proof. There is a Hadith in Jami’ Tirmidhi, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
((يعذب ناس من أهل التوحيد فى النار))
On the Day of Judgment, some people of Tawheed will suffer the punishment of fire.
In the same Hadith, the Prophet’s ﷺ statement continues:
“Until they become like burnt coals, then Allah’s mercy will come to them, and they will be taken out and thrown at the gates of Paradise, then the people of Paradise will sprinkle water on them and they will grow like grass grows on the debris left by a flood.”
You say the word Tawheed is not in the Quran, nor in the Hadith. This Hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is present. The beloved Prophet ﷺ says that some among the people of Tawheed will suffer the punishment of fire due to their bad deeds and sins.
((حتى يكونوا فيها حمما))
“They will burn in the fire and become ashes like coal.”
But because of the belief in Tawheed, what will happen!
((ثم تدركهم الرحمة))
“Then the mercy of the Lord will take them.”
A monotheist will not remain in Hell forever. Then Allah’s mercy will take them. They will stay in Hell for some time due to their sins, then Allah’s mercy will come to them.
((فيخرجون ويطرحون على أبواب الجنة))
“They will be taken out of Hell and thrown at the gates of Paradise.”
((فيرش عليهم أهل الجنة الماء))
“The people of Paradise will sprinkle the water of Paradise on them. They will grow like grass grows in the path of a flood after the flood has passed.”
((ثم يدخلون الجنة))
“Then by Allah’s mercy, they will also enter Paradise.”
Until yesterday, you used to taunt us that you invented the word Tawheed yourself, and today you are using this word very boldly and frequently. You say we are followers of Tawheed. The first thing is that according to Iqtadar Ahmad Naeemi, you yourself have become innovators, and we have given proof that the word Tawheed is used in the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Jalali Sahib says we are the followers and continuers of Tawheed. We are subjected to oppression and cruelty. The government should take notice, and Hazrat should take notice of his own actions. Stop polytheistic activities at the graves of the elders; no one will say anything.
Doubt in the meaning of La ilaha illallah:
Some people today explain Tawheed and translate [لا الہ الا اللہ] saying that there is no eleventh, no twelfth, no problem solver, no fulfiller of needs, no giver, no helper, no problem solver, no benefactor of the poor; the word Allah is translated to people in this way.
The answer
Come! We present Jalali Sahib’s statement in the light of Allah the Owner’s speech:
We ask from the Holy Quran: What does the Word of Allah tell us about Allah? What is meant by Ilah (God)? Is not the One who relieves difficulties called Ilah? Is not the One who fulfills needs called Ilah? Is not the One who provides sustenance called Ilah?
In Surah An-Naml, Allah Almighty states:
1. آمَنْ يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ الْأَرْضِ
“Who is it that responds to the distressed one when he calls upon Him and removes the evil and makes you inheritors of the earth?”
By Allah, understand the verse of the Holy Quran by opening the windows of your heart. People trapped in the quagmire of polytheism! Do not fall into the deception that the One who relieves difficulties is not Ilah.
Further, Allah Almighty commands: ء اله مع الله Is there any Ilah with Allah? قليلا ما تذكرون The One who hears the voice of the helpless, the one who hears the voice of the one trapped in difficulty, and the One who relieves difficulties is called Ilah by the Quran. There is no other Ilah besides Allah. O those who say “O Ali, help!” or “O Messenger of Allah, help!” or “O Haq Bahu, truth be!” or “O Abdul Qadir Jilani شيئا الله” sayers! Ilah with Allah is the One who helps in difficulty. In difficulty, the creation gets trapped. In difficulty, the masses get trapped, then they call upon their Creator. The Creator says the One who removes difficulties وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ is none but Allah. ء اله مع الله Is there any other Ilah besides Allah? (Certainly not).
The One who relieves difficulties is called Ilah. We have understood this from the Quran, and then the words of the Quran ء اله مع الله “Is there any other Ilah with Allah?” here a challenge is posed: Tell us, is there any other Ilah besides Allah?
Then it is said:
2. أَمَنْ يَهْدِيكُمْ فِي ظُلُمَتِ الْبَرِّ وَ الْبَحْرِ وَمَنْ يُرْسِلُ الرِّيحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَى رَحْمَتِهِ ءَ إِلَهُ مَّعَ اللَّهِ تَعْلَى اللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Who guides you through the darknesses of land and sea and sends the winds as glad tidings before His mercy? Is there any Ilah with Allah who is a guide, helper, restrainer, and shows the straight path?
Tā‘alā Allahu ‘ammā yushrikūn (Allah is exalted above what they associate with Him). Allah is pure from your partners.
The meaning of this verse is explained as the One who guides, helps, and relieves difficulties. Then it is said:
3. أَمَّنْ يَبْدَوُا الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ وَ مَنْ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ
Who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? O people! By the Word of my Lord, love Him. Embrace the divine words revealed to the blessed chest of Muhammad (peace be upon him) through Jibril (Gabriel). Remember! Your spiritual guide can err, your cleric can err, but the Owner of the Throne can never err. The people of Madinah cannot be wrong. This is the Word of the Owner, the message sent from the Most Merciful. The Owner says: آمَنْ يَبْدَوُا الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ Who created the creation for the first time and will repeat it? وَ مَنْ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth?
The provider is called Razzaq and Daatta, the one who favors the poor and the servant. The One who easily provides sustenance from the earth.
له مع الله Is there any other Ilah besides Allah? (That is, is there any other provider besides Allah?)
You say: “We have come to your door, we will take something.” Remember! This door is not found at shrines; it goes away. Ask them why the donation boxes on Baba Ji’s grave, which are large, are locked? They say the mendicants steal. So can your elder not control the mendicants? You say Baba gives everything. Then tell me why the donation box on that elder’s grave is locked? Who pays for the expenses of the one buried in the grave? If asked lovingly by invoking Allah’s name, if this donation is not collected, will there be a free kitchen? Will pots be cooked? You say this, so it works. The giver is the One who gives to you. He does not take from you. The only giver is Allah. Therefore, only empty hands are raised before Allah, and even when standing at the Baba’s grave, you raise your hands towards Allah because your intellect tells you so. You raise your hands straight there to ask because if you were to ask that elder, you would raise your hands reversed.
The Owner challenges: The One who created for the first time is the same who will return it; He is the Provider. Therefore, the Ahl al-Hadith translate La ilaha illallah as: There is no Ilah besides Allah, no reliever of difficulties besides Him, no fulfiller of needs besides Him, no one who causes disorder besides Him, no provider besides Allah, no giver besides Allah, no helper of the poor besides Allah. Because we have countless evidences from the Quran and Hadith regarding this. There is also this verse from the Holy Quran:
4. وَلِلَّهِ خَزَائِنُ السَّمَوتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
All the treasures of the heavens and the earth are in the hands of Allah.
وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
But the hypocrites do not understand.
Therefore, only Allah is the Bestower and the One who helps cross the boat.
But phrases like “Mola Ali, make my boat cross” and similar words are acts of shirk. People! The One who makes boats cross is only Allah Almighty. Ask us, we will tell you. Neither Pir Jilani makes the boat cross, nor Baba Ji makes it cross, nor Na Haq Bahu pushes your boat. The One who makes boats cross is introduced in Surah Yunus:
5. هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ
It is Allah who lets you sail on land and sea until, when you are in the ship,
وَ جَرَيْنَ بِهِمْ بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَ فَرِحُوا بِهَا you sail in it with the winds blowing, and they rejoice at its sailing.
جَاءَتْهُمْ رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ
Meaning the ship is sailing, the wind is blowing accordingly, and the onlookers are happy. Suddenly a strong gust of wind comes. Then waves rise from all sides, climbing over them, and they think they are trapped, in a terrible storm.
دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ
They call upon Allah, sincere in religion.
Allah Almighty describes the condition of the old polytheists of that era (not of today’s era) in this verse. When ships got stuck, they called upon Allah Almighty and said:
لَئِنْ أَنْجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
“O Allah! Save us once; if You save us today, we will surely be among the grateful.”
The polytheists of previous nations, when trapped, caught, or seized, after being trapped, they only called upon Allah Almighty. Today’s polytheists, even if trapped in difficulty, do not call upon Allah Almighty. Consider:
❀ A book was published on the miracles of a Baba Ji, titled “Karamat Madadiya.” His disciple says that we boarded a steamboat from Bombay. While sailing, the steamboat collided and was about to capsize or break apart. When they saw that there was no option but death, in that desperate state, they anxiously thought of their Pir Roshan Zameer and said, “Is there any time more suitable for help than now?” Allah Almighty, the All-Hearing, All-Seeing, the Absolute Doer, saved the steamboat from sinking, and all people were saved.
Meanwhile, the next day, the Master of the World told his servant: “Press my back; it hurts a lot.” While pressing the back, the servant lifted the blessed shirt and saw that the back was peeled and the skin was removed in many places. He asked: “Sir! What is this? How did your back peel?” He replied: “Nothing.” Then he remained silent. The third time, he asked again: “Sir! This looks like a friction injury, and you have not gone anywhere.” He said: “A steamboat was sinking, and one of your religious and spiritual brothers was on it. His crying disturbed me. I supported the steamboat with my back and lifted it up; it moved forward, and the servants of Allah were saved. That is why my back peeled, and that is why it hurts, but do not mention it.” After that, the person reached Makkah Mukarramah and narrated the entire story of the steamboat’s sinking, his supplication, and the immediate relief from the calamity to Hazrat Salma (may Allah have mercy on him). He remained silent after hearing it, but the servant narrated the entire condition of Hazrat Sahib to that person and then he narrated the whole situation before the gathering. Thus, this story is famous throughout the spiritual domain, and that person is still alive and is a very pious person.
The polytheists of Makkah used to call upon Allah Almighty when their ships got stuck. People of today say: “Eleventh one, make it cross,” as is famous: Once the ship started sailing, the sailor said: “Eleventh one! Pir Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah have mercy on him), make it cross.” A laborer sitting nearby jumped down. They asked: “Brother, where are you going? The ship just started sailing, it was full of difficulties, why are you getting off here?” The laborer said: “The sailor said the eleventh one should make it cross. I heard from the cleric that he (the eleventh one) will come after twelve years. I have a court appearance in the morning. I cannot take the risk.”
Thus, from the above-mentioned verse of the Holy Quran, it is proven who makes the boats cross? It is Allah Almighty. The miracles you have fabricated are false. The poet says it is not a matter of two or four years but twelve years that the drowned were saved by the Pirs of Pirs, the helpers, Pir Jilani is the Pir of all. But this is a false story and fabricated tale that some people remained drowned in the sea for twelve years and they were human children, not fish. How did they survive? That Sheikh saved them alive.
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
People! When we claim that the only giver is Allah Almighty (because the one who gives is called Daatta and the only giver is Allah Almighty), we have evidence for you. Come! Ask us for evidence. The command of the Lord is:
لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
All sovereignty in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah Almighty.
يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ
He creates what He wills.
Who creates?
Allah Almighty. But mice are born in the court of Dole Shah; He also creates them, but friends say it is Baba Ji’s miracle. Servants of Allah! Why do you touch the greatness of the Lord? What will you answer Allah?
Then He said:
يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ إِنَاثًا وَيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ الذُّكُورَ
He grants daughters to whom He wills and sons to whom He wills.
Allah Almighty gives everything, boys and girls, mixed, still Allah Almighty gives. But alas! What do we say? Girls are given by Allah Almighty, so the girl is named Allah or Allah Wasai. You never hear a girl named Pir Datti or Pir Bakhshi. If it is a boy, they name him Piran Dutta, Pir Bakhsh, Nabi Bakhsh, Ali Bakhsh, Wali Bakhsh, Imam Bakhsh, Abdul Nabi, Abdul Rasul, etc. They name boys because boys are considered superior, and Pirs are considered superior, so they attribute the superior to the superior. And if it is a girl, first, they do not even let anyone know what happened. Even the neighbor is not informed. If it is a boy, they will be happy, put on a necklace, distribute sweets made with desi ghee. If a boy is born, they will be happy. The Holy Quran says Allah Almighty gives girls and boys. Because Allah Almighty is the Bestower, and the Bestower is called Daatta. And He said:
وَيَجْعَلُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ عَقِيمًا
And whom He wills, He makes barren.
Also remember that no Pir or Fakir can make anyone fertile. Allah Almighty said:
وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ
And if Allah afflicts you with harm, there is none who can remove it except Him.
We speak the truth لا إله إلا الله means there is no giver besides Allah Almighty. No reliever of difficulties besides Him. And this we say only in the light of the verse of the Holy Quran.
Whoever says Ali is the reliever of difficulties, Wali is the reliever of difficulties, Nabi is the reliever of difficulties, let him know that the reliever of difficulties is only the Lord of the Prophets, the Lord of the Saints. The Lord of Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) is the reliever of difficulties. Because the reliever of difficulties is the one upon whom no difficulty comes, and the one upon whom difficulty comes is not the reliever of difficulties. The Lord did not face difficulty; others faced difficulty. When Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was accused, did the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) face difficulty? When the daughters of orphans were divorced, did the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) face difficulty? When Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was refused allegiance by Sayyidina Muawiya (may Allah be pleased with him), was there difficulty? The one upon whom difficulty comes is not the reliever of difficulties.
وَإِنْ يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَادَّ لِفَضْلِهِ يُصِيبُ بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
And if He intends good for you, there is none who can repel His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
Come! Now I will also give evidence that everything is under the control of Allah Almighty. If everything except Allah Almighty were in the hands of someone else, for example, if a Shia Baba or Pir Fakir had the power to give offspring, then tell me, would any child be born in Sunni homes? And if Sunnis had the power to give offspring, would any girl be born in Shia homes? Their fathers would prevent their offspring. The Lord says: If I give good, no one can prevent it. If I give illness, no one can cure it. Then from the words of the Holy Quran, it is known that the reliever of difficulties is also Allah Almighty.
Then the divine command is:
وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ
And if Allah afflicts you with harm, there is none who can remove it except Him.
وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
If Allah intends good for you, then Allah is capable of all things.
The only chooser is Allah Almighty. Allah, the Lord of Glory, said:
مَا يَفْتَحِ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ رَحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Whose mercy Allah opens for people, none can withhold it, and whom He withholds, none can release it thereafter. He is the Almighty, the Wise.
No Pir, no Fakir, and no elder can do anything. No matter how much you lick the soil of an elder’s grave, no one can make anyone fertile. If Allah Almighty does not do it, then all are needy. If giving offspring were in the hands of Prophets, Babas, and Saints, then the last son of Muhammad (peace be upon him), Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), would not have died. There would be no reproach from the disbelievers. Did these oppressors not say, God forbid, that you (peace be upon him) are “abtar” (without male offspring)? In response to this, this Surah was revealed:
إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ
Indeed, We have granted you Al-Kawthar. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice. Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
Allah Almighty defended the honor of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and replied that you are not abtar, but your enemies are cut off. Your mention will continue until the Day of Judgment. Anyway, listen that the enemies of the Prophet (peace be upon him) are cut off. The elders whom you consider givers and relievers of difficulties have nothing in their hands. The giver and reliever of difficulties is only Allah Almighty. Allah, the Owner, says:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ
O people! Remember the favors of Allah upon you.
هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ
Is there any creator besides Allah who provides for you from the heaven and the earth?
There is no provider besides Allah Almighty. Those who place Pirs and Fakirs in their position are associating partners with Allah Almighty, committing a crime.
The Creator says, I withhold sustenance.
هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ
Is there any other provider besides Allah who provides for you from the earth and the heaven?
Everyone else besides Allah Almighty is needy. They are beggars at Allah’s door. The true giver is only Allah Almighty, the true servant helper, the helper of the poor is only Allah Almighty. O people! Now abandon this belief and stop listening to this qawwali. The so-called Muslim sings qawwali:
I am of Sunni devotion
Hey, then why are you jealous of me?
Even if it’s the whole world,
It grows at the door of my Khawaja
Here, Khawaja’s coin circulates
This is a blasphemous statement.
Then the Qawwal says:
If Khawaja does not give, then who will give?
When Khawaja was not born, who provided sustenance then? Even before their lineage came, people used to eat bread and sleep.
God gives and God will give
God gave to Muhammad ﷺ
God gave to Ali رضي الله عنه
God gave to the Wali
If God does not grant, then no stove will burn in the house of any saint, and if God grants, then the saint eats. You have considered men as givers, you said if the saint does not give, then who will? This means you have no faith or trust in God. إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Further observe: Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى اللَّهِ
O people! You all are in need of Allah.
وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
And Allah is Free of need, worthy of all praise by Himself.
Allah is the Self-Sufficient Possessor of all excellences; He is the Giver. Whether the prophet’s stove burns or not, whether He feeds the whole world or not, the Giver, the Reliever of difficulties, the One who rectifies, the Provider of sustenance, the Helper of the poor, the Lord who nurtures servants—there is none besides Him. Those whom you consider givers are dependent on your donations. They are helpless for the work done at their shrines. They are compelled to have living people give donations.
And Allah, the Owner, has proven Himself to be the Giver. He said:
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Our Lord! Do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
From this verse, it is also proven that our sole Giver is Allah. Allah describes the helplessness of the entire universe as follows:
قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ
Say, O Allah! O Owner of all the worlds, You give sovereignty to whom You will.
وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ
And You take sovereignty away from whom You will.
The One who gives sovereignty is Allah, and the One who takes it away is Allah. No one attains prime ministership by the stick of a baba (saint). These are false stories and tales that this baba did this and that happened, etc.
Only He is the Lord who saves whom He wills and tests whom He wills.
وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ
He is the Master who honors whom He wills.
وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ
And humiliates whom He wills.
بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
All good and blessings are in the hands of Allah, who is capable of all things.
Today, despite knowing and understanding the proofs of monotheism, the prejudice of your sect and sympathies for your group are misleading people.
There is a baba in India, Muhammad Mian, who, while addressing a conference in London, said: Today’s conference title is: Conference of Ghaus-e-Azam. Then he himself read a verse from the Holy Quran, I do not know what he will answer to God on the Day of Judgment. He read the verse:
وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
There is no guardian except Allah. No helper except Him.
There is no Ghaus-e-Azam. There is no helper. Who are you to call a man Ghaus-e-Azam? Who are you to call a man the Helper of the poor? Who are you to call a man a helper? Who gave you the authority to make a man a partner with Allah? Whoever calls anyone other than Allah the Helper of the poor or Ghaus-e-Azam is a polytheist.
Silence fell over the entire gathering. The baba became distressed and immediately said: What I was just saying was an ignorant interpretation of this verse. Astaghfirullah! This is the state of these people’s prejudice and stubbornness that they call a matter and belief proven by many verses “ignorant interpretation” and are engaged in a futile attempt to prevent the public from the path shown by the Holy Quran. واللہ المستعان على ما تصفون.
Similarly, Allah has mentioned further proofs that He alone is the All-Powerful, the Reliever of difficulties. He said:
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ سَمْعَكُمْ وَأَبْصَارَكُمْ وَخَتَمَ عَلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ
Say, if Allah takes away your hearing and your sight and seals your hearts,
مَنْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِهِ
Is there any god besides Allah who can bring them back to you?
انْظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ ثُمَّ هُمْ يَصْدِفُونَ
See how we present the verses repeatedly, yet they turn away.
All these arguments make it clear that
is baseless.
Now Jalali Sahib further states:
“You do not even know about divinity and the standard of divinity.”
Answer:
In the previous pages, we have proven with evidence that the One who relieves difficulties, fulfills needs, is generous to the poor, grants offspring, provides sustenance, and is the Giver is only Allah, the One without partner. Allah Almighty has asked the polytheists, the idolaters of Mecca, and the Arabs several times whether there is any deity besides Allah in these matters. They could not answer this question, so their failure to respond and their silence indicates that they admitted that the true deity is only Allah Almighty. But today, those who have become addicted to the innovations of grave worship, who worship other than Allah and then cover it with the cloak of Islam, have become so accustomed to this sin that despite committing it, they do not consider it a sin and say that this is not the criterion of divinity. إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Is Jalali Sahib Hanafi in Creed?
Then Ashraf Jalali claims to be Hanafi and is also an advocate of Hanafism, but when it comes to creed, he forgets Imam Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, while taking the creed. We say that we admire your Hanafism because when it comes to jurisprudential matters, you claim to be Hanafi and say that you follow Imam Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him. Then there are some people who say that they receive knowledge from Imam Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, in their dreams.
Tahir al-Qadri says that for 9 years he learned jurisprudence from the Imam, may Allah have mercy on him, in the world of dreams, benefited from him, and studied from him.
But when it was Ashraf Jalali’s turn to take the creed, he forgot Imam Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, Abu Yusuf, may Allah have mercy on him, Imam Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him, and other predecessors. Then, in taking the creed and in praising shirk, he takes refuge in Taftazani, may Allah have mercy on him, whose own being Hanafi is also doubtful.
