Hadith 190

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade the sale of fruits until the danger of disease had passed. The narrator, Uthman, says: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), "At what time is the disease considered to have passed?" So Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "When the star Thurayya rises."
