باب: لا ينبغي للقاضي ولا للوالي أن يتخذ كاتبا ذميا ولا يضع الذمي في موضع يتفضل فيه مسلما

رُوِّينَا فِي كِتَابِ السِّيَرِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَنْ أَسْتَعِينَ بِمُشْرِكٍ " وَاللَّفْظُ عَامٌّ.
It has reached us in the Book of Siyar, through Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him), from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I will never seek help from a polytheist." And the wording (of this hadith) is general.
