باب الْكَلاَمِ في الطَّوَافِ:Chapter: Speaking During Tawaf
Hadith 1885
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ صَلَاةٌ، إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَحَلَّ فِيهِ الْمَنْطِقَ، فَمَنْ نَطَقَ فِيهِ، فَلَا يَنْطِقْ إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ" .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Tawaf of the House of Allah is (an act of worship) like prayer, except that Allah Almighty has permitted speaking in it. So if anyone wishes to speak during tawaf, let him speak good words.”
