Hadith 1833

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing but Paradise, and one ‘Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the next ‘Umrah.”

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 1832)

It is stated in Sahih Bukhari: «اَلْعُمْرَهُ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَالْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُوْرُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةَ By "Hajj Mabroor" is meant such a Hajj in which, from beginning to end, there are only good deeds, and the etiquettes of Hajj are fully observed. There should be no sinfulness, immorality, quarrelling, or negligence and deficiency in the performance of obligatory acts. Such a Hajj will certainly be a cause for entry into Paradise.
