Hadith 1834

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs Hajj of this House (the Ka'bah) and does not engage in sexual talk nor commits any sin, he will return as (pure) as the day his mother gave birth to him."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 1833)

That is, after Hajj, he will return purified from all sins. In the Noble Qur’an, the command is: «﴿فَمَن فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ فَلَا رَفَثَ وَلَا فُسُوقَ وَلَا جِدَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ﴾ [البقرة : 197]» meaning, whoever performs Hajj should abstain during Hajj from the requirements of sexual intercourse, sin, and quarrelling. «رفث» refers to sexual intercourse or engaging in lustful talk related to intercourse (obscene speech), and «فسق» refers to abusive language, harsh speech, etc. From this hadith, the virtue and excellence of Hajj is established and known. If Hajj is performed while observing the aforementioned matters, then the pilgrim becomes completely purified from sins. By giving an example, it is stated that he becomes just like a child who is born from his mother’s womb pure and free from sins.
