It is narrated from the companion of the Messenger of Allah, Sayyiduna Salman al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ghusl on the day of Jumu'ah and thoroughly purifies himself, then applies oil and uses whatever perfume is available at home, then goes out (for Jumu'ah) and does not push between two people, and prays as much as is destined for him, then when the Imam comes out (for the sermon) he remains silent, then all the sins committed between this Jumu'ah and the next Jumu'ah are forgiven for him."

From this hadith, the virtue of Jumu‘ah (Friday) is established, and by adopting the actions mentioned in the hadith, a Muslim can attain both outward and inward blessings and goodness.
