Hadith 10
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ : قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَالْخِتَانُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The Fitrah are five: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, removing the pubes, and circumcision.'"
Hadith 22
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَائِطَ ، فَلَا يَسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَكِنْ لِيُشَرِّقْ أَوْ لِيُغَرِّبْ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When any one of you goes to defecate, let him not face toward the Qiblah, rather let him face towards the east or the west.'"
Hadith 36
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَبُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مُسْتَحَمِّهِ ، فَإِنَّ عَامَّةَ الْوَسْوَاسِ مِنْهُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "None of you should urinate in the place where he bathes, for most Waswas (devilish whispers) [1] come from that." [1] I.e., with regard to whether the urine has soiled his body or not.
Hadith 78
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، وَقَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قال : طَلَبَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضُوءًا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلْ مَعَ أَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ مَاءٌ ؟ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ فِي الْمَاءِ ، وَيَقُولُ : تَوَضَّئُوا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ، فَرَأَيْتُ الْمَاءَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ حَتَّى تَوَضَّئُوا مِنْ عِنْدِ آخِرِهِمْ " . قَالَ ثَابِتٌ : قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ : كَمْ تُرَاهُمْ ؟ قَالَ : نَحْوًا مِنْ سَبْعِينَ .
´It was narrated that Anas said:` "Some of the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) were looking for (water for) Wudu'. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Do any of you have water?' He put his hand in the water and said: 'Perform Wudu' in the Name of Allah.' I saw the water coming out from between his fingers until they had all performed Wudu'." Thabit said: "I said to Anas: 'How many did you see?' He said: 'About seventy.'"
Hadith 84
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبَانَ ، قال : رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ الْيُمْنَى إِلَى الْمِرْفَقِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ الْيُسْرَى مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ قَدَمَهُ الْيُمْنَى ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ الْيُسْرَى مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ . ثُمَّ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي . ثُمَّ قَالَ : " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَا يُحَدِّثُ نَفْسَهُ فِيهِمَا بِشَيْءٍ ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Humran bin Aban said:` "I saw 'Uthman bin 'Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, performing Wudu'. He poured water on his hands three times and washed them, then he rinsed his mouth and his nose, then he washed his face three times, then he washed his right arm to the elbow three times, then the left likewise. Then he wiped his head, then he washed his right foot three times, then the left likewise. Then he said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing Wudu' like I have just done. Then he said: 'Whoever performs Wudu' as I have done, then prays two rak'ahs without letting his thoughts wander, his previous sins will be forgiven.'"
Hadith 161
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ، وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ مَنَامِهِ ، فَلَا يُدْخِلْ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ حَتَّى يُفْرِغَ عَلَيْهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "When any one of you wakes from sleep, let him not put his hand into the vessel until he has washed it three times, because he does not know where his hand spent the night."
Hadith 171
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَارِظٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Perform Wudu' from that which has been touched by fire.'"
Hadith 232
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قالت : " كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَهُوَ قَدْرُ الْفَرَقِ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "I used to perform Ghusl with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) from one vessel, which was the size of a Faraq."
Hadith 265
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَطُوفُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فِي غُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ " .
It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to (go around) all his wives and perform Ghusl once.
Hadith 386
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ " تُرَجِّلُ رَأْسَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ ، فَيُنَاوِلُهَا رَأْسَهُ وَهِيَ فِي حُجْرَتِهَا " .
It was narrated from 'Aishah that she used to comb the hair of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when she was menstruating and he was performing I'tikaf. He would put his head out to her while she was in her room.
Hadith 397
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَبُولَنَّ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْمَاءِ الدَّائِمِ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ أَوْ يَتَوَضَّأُ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "None of you should urinate into standing water and then perform Ghusl or Wudu' with it."
Hadith 446
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ بُسْرَةَ بِنْتِ صَفْوَانَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَفْضَى أَحَدُكُمْ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى فَرْجِهِ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ " .
´It was narrated from Busrah bint Safwan that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "If any one of you touches his private part with his hand, let him perform Wudu'."
Hadith 483
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ نَصْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قالت : " أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعِشَاءِ حَتَّى نَادَاهُ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ نَامَ النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ ، فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُصَلِّي هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ غَيْرَكُمْ " . وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَحَدٌ يُصَلِّي غَيْرَ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delayed 'Isha' until 'Umar called him and said: 'The women and children have gone to sleep.' Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out and said: 'There is no one who is offering this prayer but you.' And at that time no one used to pray except the people of Al-Madinah."
Hadith 515
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "Whoever catches up with two Rak'ahs of 'Asr prayer before the sun sets, or one Rak'ah of the Subh prayer before the sun rises, has caught it."
Hadith 516
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الْفَجْرِ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "Whoever catches up with one Rak'ah of 'Asr prayer before the sun sets, or catches up with one Rak'ah of Fajr before the sun rises, has caught it."
Hadith 580
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي بَيْتِهَا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً ، وَأَنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " هُمَا رَكْعَتَانِ كُنْتُ أُصَلِّيهِمَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ فَشُغِلْتُ عَنْهُمَا حَتَّى صَلَّيْتُ الْعَصْرَ " .
´It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Prophet (ﷺ) once prayed two Rak'ahs after 'Asr in her house. She asked him about that and he said:` "They are two Rak'ahs that I used to pray after Zuhr, but I got distracted and forgot them until I prayed 'Asr."
Hadith 600
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قال : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ أَوْ حَزَبَهُ أَمْرٌ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:` "If the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was in a hurry to travel, or some emergency arose, he would combine Maghrib and 'Isha'."
Hadith 621
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً ، فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى ، يَقُولُ : 0 أَقِمْ الصَّلَاةَ لِلذِّكْرَى 0 " . قُلْتُ لِلزُّهْرِيِّ : هَكَذَا قَرَأَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ .
´It was narrated from Ma'mar, from Az-Zuhri, from Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab, that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever forgets a prayer, let him pray it when he remembers it, for Allah says: "and perform prayer when you remember (li dhikra).'" I said to Az-Zuhri: "Is that how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited it?" He said: "Yes."
Hadith 688
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ ، فَلَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْنِي خَرَجْتُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: 'When the Iqamah for prayer is said, do not stand up until you see that I have come out.'"
Hadith 704
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، وَيُونُسَ ، قَالَا : قال الزُّهْرِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ، وَابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَا : لَمَّا نُزِلَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَطَفِقَ يَطْرَحُ خَمِيصَةً لَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فَإِذَا اغْتَمَّ كَشَفَهَا عَنْ وَجْهِهِ ، قال وَهُوَ كَذَلِكَ " لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ ، وَالنَّصَارَى ، اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ " .
´'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah reported that 'Aishah and Ibn 'Abbas said:` "When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was on his deathbed, he had a Khamisah over his face. When his temperature rose, he would uncover his face. When his temperature rose, he would uncover his face. While he was like that he said: 'May Allah curse the Jews and Christians, for they took the graves of their Prophets as places of worship.'"
Hadith 845
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودٍ ، عَنْ عِتْبَانَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ السُّيُولَ لَتَحُولُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ مَسْجِدِ قَوْمِي فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ تَأْتِيَنِي فَتُصَلِّيَ فِي مَكَانٍ مِنْ بَيْتِي أَتَّخِذُهُ مَسْجِدًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَنَفْعَلُ " فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ فَأَشَرْتُ إِلَى نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ " فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
´It was narrated from 'Itban bin Malik that he said:` "0 Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) the floods keep me from coming to the Masjid of my people. I would like you to come and pray in a place in my house so that I can take it as a Masjid." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "We shall do that." "When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered he said: 'Where do you want (me to pray).' I showed him a comer of the house, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood there, and we formed rows behind him, and he led us in praying two Rak'ahs."
Hadith 912
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فَصَاعِدًا " .
´It was narrated that Ubadah bin As-Samit said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There is no Salah for one who does not recite Fatihatil-Kitab or more.'"
Hadith 928
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قال : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قال : حَدَّثَنِي مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7 فَقُولُوا : آمِينَ فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَقُولُ آمِينَ وَإِنَّ الْإِمَامَ يَقُولُ آمِينَ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When the Imam says: Not (the way) of those who earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray, say: 'Amin' for the angels say Amin and the Imam says Amin, and if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.'"
Hadith 937
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قال : سَمِعْتُ هِشَامَ بْنَ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ الْفُرْقَانِ فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا حُرُوفًا لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْرَأَنِيهَا قُلْتُ : مَنْ أَقْرَأَكَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْتُ : كَذَبْتَ مَا هَكَذَا أَقْرَأَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ أَقُودُهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ أَقْرَأْتَنِي سُورَةَ الْفُرْقَانِ وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ هَذَا يَقْرَأُ فِيهَا حُرُوفًا لَمْ تَكُنْ أَقْرَأْتَنِيهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اقْرَأْ يَا هِشَام " فَقَرَأَ كَمَا كَانَ يَقْرَأُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَكَذَا أُنْزِلَتْ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " اقْرَأْ يَا عُمَرُ " فَقَرَأْتُ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا أُنْزِلَتْ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الْقُرْآنَ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn Makhramah that:` Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "I heard Hisham bin Hakim bin Hizam reciting: Surat Al-Furqan, in a way that the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) had not taught me. I said: 'Who taught you this Surah?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).' I said: 'You are lying; the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not teach you like that. 'I took him by the hand and brought him to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you taught me Surat Al-Furqan, but I heard this man reciting it in a way that you did not teach me.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Recite, O Hisham.' So he recited it as he had recited it (before). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'It was revealed like this.' Then he said: 'Recite, O Umar.' So I recited it, and he said: 'It was revealed like this.' Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The Quran was revealed to be recited in seven different modes.'"
Hadith 959
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ حَنْبَلٍ قال : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قال : " قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ سُورَةَ النَّجْمِ ، فَسَجَدَ وَسَجَدَ مَنْ عِنْدَهُ فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي وَأَبَيْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَسْلَمَ الْمُطَّلِبُ " .
´It was narrated from Ja'far bin Al-Muttalib bin Abi Wada'ah that:` His father said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited Surat An-Najm in Makkah and prostrated, and those who were with him prostrated. I raised my head and refused to prostrate." At that time Al-Muttalib had not yet accepted Islam.
Hadith 1022
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قالت : سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قِرَاءَةَ أَبِي مُوسَى فَقَالَ : " لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ هَذَا مِزْمَارًا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard the recitation of Abu Musa and said: 'This man has been given a Mizmar among the Mazamir of the family of Dawud, peace be upon him.'"
Hadith 1061
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "When the Prophet (ﷺ) raised his head from bowing, he said: 'Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O Allah, our Lord and to You be the praise).'"
Hadith 1079
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ فُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا يَدْعُو عَلَى أُنَاسٍ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ " .
´It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that:` He heard the Prophet (ﷺ), when he raised his head in the last rak'ah of the subh prayer, say: "O Allah, curse so-and-so and so-and-so," supplicating against some of the hypocrites. Then Allah revealed the words: "Not for you is the decision; whether He turns in mercy to (pardon) them or punishes them; verily, they are the wrongdoers."
Hadith 1089
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْكُوفِيُّ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قال : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ وَكَانَ لَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السُّجُودِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to raise his hands when he started to pray, and when he bowed, and when he stood up, but he did not do that when he prostrated."
Hadith 1141
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنٌ بِالْمِصِّيصَةِ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، وَالنُّعْمَانُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قال : كُنْتُ جَالِسًا إِلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، فَحَدَّثَ : أَحَدُهُمَا حَدِيثَ الشَّفَاعَةِ وَالْآخَرُ مُنْصِتٌ قال : فَتَأْتِي الْمَلَائِكَةُ فَتَشْفَعُ وَتَشْفَعُ الرُّسُلُ وَذَكَرَ الصِّرَاطَ قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَأَكُونُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يُجِيزُ فَإِذَا فَرَغَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنَ الْقَضَاءِ بَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ وَأَخْرَجَ مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ أَمَرَ اللَّهُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ وَالرُّسُلَ أَنْ تَشْفَعَ فَيُعْرَفُونَ بِعَلَامَاتِهِمْ إِنَّ النَّارَ تَأْكُلُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مِنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ السُّجُودِ فَيُصَبُّ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ مَاءِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَنْبُتُونَ كَمَا تَنْبُتُ الْحِبَّةُ فِي حَمِيلِ السَّيْلِ " .
´It was narrated that 'Ata bin Yazid said:` "I was sitting with Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'eed. One of them narrated the hadith about intercession and the other was listening. He said: 'Then the angels will come and intercede, and the messengers will intercede.' And he mentioned the Sirat, and said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'I will be the first one to cross it, and when Allah has finished passing judgment among His creation, and has brought forth from the Fire those whom He wants to bring forth, Allah will command the angels and the messengers to intercede, and they will be recognized by their signs, for the Fire will consume all of the son of Adam apart from the place of prostration. Then the water of life will be poured on them, and they will grow like seeds on the banks of a rainwater stream."
Hadith 1157
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، وَسَوَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : وَعَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّهُمَا صَلَّيَا خَلْفَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " فَلَمَّا رَكَعَ كَبَّرَ فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ وَكَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَكَبَّرَ ، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ حِينَ قَامَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لَأَقْرَبُكُمْ شَبَهًا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا زَالَتْ هَذِهِ صَلَاتُهُ حَتَّى فَارَقَ الدُّنْيَا " وَاللَّفْظُ لِسَوَّارٍ .
´It was narrated from Abu Bakr bin 'Abdur-Rahman and from Abu Salamah bin 'Abdur-Rahman that:` They prayed behind Abu Hurairah, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with him, and he when he bowed, he said the Takbir, when he raised his head he said: 'Sami Allahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa lakal-hamd. Then he prostrated and said the takbir, then he raised his head and said the takbir, then he said the takbir when he stood up following that Rak'ah. Then he said: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I am the one among you whose prayer most closely resembles that of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). And this is how he continued to pray until he left this world."
Hadith 1203
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ , وَيَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ , عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ جَوْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قَالَ : " أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِ الْأَسْوَدَيْنِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded us to kill the two black ones (snakes and scorpions) while praying."
Hadith 1204
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ ضَمْضَمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْأَسْوَدَيْنِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) enjoined killing the two black ones (snakes and scorpions) while praying.
Hadith 1231
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ , وَأَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قَالَ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ أَوِ الْعَصْرَ , فَسَلَّمَ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَانْصَرَفَ , فَقَالَ لَهُ ذُو الشِّمَالَيْنِ ابْنُ عَمْرٍو : أَنُقِصَتِ الصَّلَاةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ ؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يَقُولُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ " , فَقَالُوا : صَدَقَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ , فَأَتَمَّ بِهِمُ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ نَقَصَ ,
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed Zuhr or 'Asr and said the taslim following two rak'ahs and left. Dhul-Shimalain bin 'Amr said to him: 'Has the prayer been shortened or did you forget?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'What is Dhul-Yadain saying?' They said: 'He is speaking the truth, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).' So he led them in praying the two rak'ahs that he missed."
Hadith 1270
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَانَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ , وَرَفَعَ أُصْبُعَهُ الَّتِي تَلِي الْإِبْهَامَ , فَدَعَا بِهَا وَيَدُهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ بَاسِطُهَا عَلَيْهَا " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:` When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat during the prayer, he put his hands on his knees and raised the finger that is next to the thumb, and supplicates with it, and his left hand was on his knee laid on it.
Hadith 1328
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَهُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عِتْبَانَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ , يَقُولُ : كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي بِقَوْمِي بَنِي سَالِمٍ , فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقُلْتُ : إِنِّي قَدْ أَنْكَرْتُ بَصَرِي , وَإِنَّ السُّيُولَ تَحُولُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ مَسْجِدِ قَوْمِي , فَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّكَ جِئْتَ فَصَلَّيْتَ فِي بَيْتِي مَكَانًا أَتَّخِذُهُ مَسْجِدًا , قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَأَفْعَلُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ " , فَغَدَا عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مَعَهُ بَعْدَ مَا اشْتَدَّ النَّهَارُ , فَاسْتَأْذَنَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَأَذِنْتُ لَهُ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى , قَالَ : " أَيْنَ تُحِبُّ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ " , فَأَشَرْتُ لَهُ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي أُحِبُّ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ , " فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ وَسَلَّمْنَا حِينَ سَلَّمَ " .
´'Itban bin Malik said:` "I used to lead my people Bani Salim in prayer. I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: 'I have lost my eyesight and the rainwater prevents me from reaching the masjid of my people. I would like you to come and pray in my house in a place that I can take as a masjid.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'I will do that, if Allah (SWT) wills.' The next day, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came, and Abu Bakr was with him, after the day had grown hot. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked for permission to enter, and I gave him permission. He did not sit own until he asked: 'Where would you like me to pray in your house?' I showed him the place where I wanted him to pray, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood there and formed a row behind him, then he said the salam and we said the salam when he did."
Hadith 1386
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ نَصْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ , قَعَدَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَكَتَبُوا مَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ , فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طَوَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ الصُّحُفَ , قَالَ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْمُهَجِّرُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَدَنَةً ، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي بَقَرَةً ، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي شَاةً ، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي بَطَّةً ، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي دَجَاجَةً ، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي بَيْضَةً " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When Friday comes, the angels sit at the doors of the Masjid and record who comes to Jumu'ah prayers. Then, when the Imam comes out, the angels roll up their scrolls." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The one who comes early to Jumu'ah prayers is like one who sacrifices a camel, then like one who sacrifices a cow, then like one who sacrifices a sheep, then like one who sacrifices a duck, then like one who sacrifices a chicken, then like one who sacrifices an egg."
Hadith 1429
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ " .
´It was narrated from Salim that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray two rak'ahs in his house after Jumu'ah."
Hadith 1432
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةً لَا يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ فِيهَا شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "On Friday, there is an hour when, if a Muslim slave asks Allah for something at that time, He will give it to him."
Hadith 1539
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى بِإِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ رَكْعَةً وَالطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى مُوَاجِهَةُ الْعَدُوِّ ، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقُوا فَقَامُوا فِي مَقَامِ أُولَئِكَ وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً أُخْرَى ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَقَامَ هَؤُلَاءِ فَقَضَوْا رَكْعَتَهُمْ وَقَامَ هَؤُلَاءِ فَقَضَوْا رَكْعَتَهُمْ " .
´It was narrated from Salim from his father, that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led one of the two groups in praying one rak'ah while the other group was facing the enemy, then they moved away and took the place of the others, and the others came and he led them in praying the other rak'ah, then he said the salam and they stood up and made up the other rak'ah, and the others stood up and made up the other rak'ah.
