The virtues of Ya'la bin Munyah (may Allah be pleased with him)

اُردوEn
فإني سمعت أبا العباس محمد بن يعقوب يقول: سمعت العبّاس يقول: سمعتُ يحيى يقول: كُنية يعلى بن مُرّة الثَّقَفي أبو المُرازِم (2). وقد روى عن يعلى بن مُنْيَة ثلاثةٌ من ولَدِه: صفوانُ وعثمانُ وعبدُ الرحمن.
In this matter Imam Muslim differed with Yahya bin Ma'in, because according to Yahya bin Ma'in "Abu al-Murazim" is the kunya of Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him). It should be noted that three of the sons of Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Munyah narrated reports from him: Safwan, Uthman and Abd al-Rahman.
