It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out, he proceeded with calmness, but in the valley of Muhassir he quickened the pace of his mount. He showed them pebbles like date stones and instructed them to walk with tranquility and dignity. He said, "My Ummah should learn the rites of Hajj, for perhaps I may not meet them again next year."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was preparing an army. Half the night passed in this task, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and said: The people have prayed and gone to sleep, and you have remained in prayer for as long as you waited for the prayer.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah Almighty granted a prophet the spoils of Khaybar. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) allowed the Jews to remain there and distributed it among the people. After that, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Rawahah was sent. When he arrived there, he harvested the fruit and estimated its amount. Then he said to them, "O group of Jews, among all creation, you are the most hated by me. You martyred Allah’s Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and lied about Allah. But this hatred will not make me treat you unjustly. I have harvested twenty thousand wasqs of dates. If you wish, you may take them, or if you wish, I will take them." They said, "On this, the heavens and the earth will remain established, that we have taken them. Now you may leave."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The emergence of the Dajjal will occur at a time when there will be laziness in religion and a decline in knowledge. He will travel the entire earth in forty nights, the first day will be equal to a year, the second to a month, the third to a week, and the remaining days will be like your normal days. He will have a donkey on which he will ride, and the distance between its two ears will be forty cubits. He will say to the people, "I am your Lord," although he will be one-eyed, and your Lord is not one-eyed. Between his two eyes will be written, with the letters of the alphabet, "Kafir" (disbeliever), which every Muslim, whether literate or illiterate, will be able to read. He will descend at every water and spring except for Madinah and Makkah, which Allah has made forbidden for him. He will have mountains of bread with him, and all people except his followers will be in extreme distress. He will have two rivers with him, about which I know more than he does. He will call one river Paradise and the other Hell. Whoever he admits to his Paradise, it will in fact be Hell, and whoever he admits to his Hell, it will be Paradise. Allah will send devils with him who will talk to people. He will have a great trial with him. He will command the sky, and it will seem to people as if it is raining. He will kill a man and then bring him back to life before the eyes of the people, and he will say to them, "People, can anyone do this except the Lord?" At that time, true Muslims will flee and take refuge in the mountain of Dukhan in Syria. The Dajjal will lay a very severe siege to them, and the Muslims will be in extreme distress. Then Sayyiduna Isa (Jesus) will descend, and at the time of dawn, he will call out to the people, "O people, what is stopping you from coming out against this lying, wicked one?" The people will say, "He seems to be a jinn." But when they come out and see, it will be Sayyiduna Isa. The prayer will be established, and it will be said to him, "O Spirit of Allah, come forward and lead the prayer." He will say, "Your own Imam should lead the prayer." After the Fajr prayer, they will go out towards the Dajjal. When that liar sees Sayyiduna Isa, he will begin to melt like salt dissolves in water. Sayyiduna Isa will advance and kill him, and at that time, the trees and stones will call out, "O Spirit of Allah, here is a Jew hiding behind me." Thus, they will not leave any follower of the Dajjal and will kill them all.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that in Madinah Munawwarah, a Jewish woman gave birth to a child who had one eye wiped out and the other bright and protruding. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) felt concerned that this might be the Dajjal. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw him lying in a sheet, murmuring something, but his mother promptly informed him, "Abdullah, this is Abu al-Qasim who has come, come to him." So he came out from his sheet. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What is wrong with this woman? May Allah curse her! If she had left him, he would have surely revealed his reality." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "O Ibn Sayyad, what do you see?" He said, "I see both truth and falsehood, and I see a throne upon water." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "The matter has become confused for you." Then he asked, "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" He turned and asked, "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I believe in Allah and His Messenger." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left him and went away.
After that, once again the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to him and the same situation occurred. Then, the third or fourth time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came with a group of Muhajireen and Ansar, among whom were Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar, and I was also present, and the same situation occurred. However, at the end, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "O Ibn Sayyad, we have hidden something in our mind to test you, tell us what it is." He said, "Dukh, dukh." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be gone!" Upon this, Sayyiduna Umar said, "O Messenger of Allah! Give me permission to kill him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If he is the same (Dajjal), then you are not his people (to kill him); his people are Sayyiduna Isa. And if he is not, then you are not permitted to kill a dhimmi." In any case, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) always feared that he might be the Dajjal.
Hadith 14956
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to bring the meat of the sacrificial animals of Hajj to Madinah Munawwarah.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to practice 'azl, that is, withdrawing the water of life (semen) outside.
Hadith 14958
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a man freed his slave by saying, "You are free after my death." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for him and sold him.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal used to first perform the Isha prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then go to his own people and lead them in prayer there. Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delayed the Isha prayer. Sayyiduna Mu'adh prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and, upon returning to his people, began reciting Surah Al-Baqarah. Seeing this, a man performed his own prayer and left. Later, someone said to him, "You have become a hypocrite." He replied, "I am not a hypocrite." Then he went and mentioned this matter to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Mu'adh prays with you, then comes back and leads us in prayer. We are people who work in the fields and labor with our own hands. He came and led us in prayer and began with Surah Al-Baqarah." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him twice, "Mu'adh, do you want to put people to trial? Why do you not recite Surah Al-A'la and Surah Ash-Shams?"
Hadith 14961
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Why did you not marry a virgin, so that you could play with her and she could play with you?

When he saw that the people had gathered, he would perform it early, and when he saw that the people had not yet arrived, he would delay it. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Tufail bin Amr Dausi came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Do you need a strong fortress and refuge? In the time of ignorance, the tribe of Daus had a fortress." But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) refused, saying, "This virtue Allah has reserved for the Ansar." Thus, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) migrated to Madinah Munawwarah, Tufail bin Amr also migrated, and with him another man also migrated. There, the climate of Madinah did not suit him, and that person became ill. In a state of distress, he took scissors and cut his fingers, so that his hands were filled with blood, and so much blood flowed that he died.
In a dream, Amr bin Tufail saw him; he appeared in a very good state, except that his hands were covered. Tufail asked him, "What did your Lord do with you?" He replied, "Because of the blessing of migration towards the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Allah forgave me." He asked, "What is the matter that your hands appear to be covered?" He replied, "It was said to me, 'We cannot set right what you yourself have ruined.'" The next day, Tufail narrated this dream to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed, "O Allah, forgive the sin of his hands."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to us, and after praising and glorifying Allah, he said: "Whomever Allah guides, none can misguide him, and whomever He lets go astray, none can guide him. The truest word is the Book of Allah, and the best way is the way of Muhammad. The worst things are newly invented matters, and every newly invented matter is an innovation." Then, as he continued mentioning the Day of Judgment, his voice would become louder, his blessed face would become red, and his passion would increase, and it seemed as if he was warning against an approaching army. Then he said: "The Hour will come upon you in the morning or in the evening. Abdullah bin Ubaid says that once some companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him). He presented cotton and vinegar before them and said, "Eat, for I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say that vinegar is the best condiment." It is destructive for a person that his brothers come to him and he considers it beneath himself to present to them whatever is available in his house. And it is also destructive for people that they consider whatever is presented before them as insignificant.
