Hadith 11859
Saeed bin Umair Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) says that once I was sitting with Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), one of them said to the other that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that on the Day of Resurrection people will sweat profusely, one of them said, "up to the earlobes," and the other said, "the sweat will be like a bridle in his mouth." Then Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) drew a line from beneath the earlobe to the mouth and said, I consider this part to be equal.
Hadith 11860
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you hear the call to prayer (Adhan), say the same words as the muezzin says.

Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him and to his son Ali, "Both of you go to Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and listen to hadith from him." So both of us went. At that time, he was in one of his gardens. When he saw us, he picked up his sheet and came and sat with us and began narrating hadith. During the conversation, the topic of the construction of the mosque came up, so he said, "We used to bring one brick each, and Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to bring two bricks at a time. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw him and began dusting the dirt off his head and said, 'Ammar! Why don't you bring one brick at a time like your companions?' He said, 'I am doing it with the intention of reward.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept dusting his head and kept saying, 'O son of Sumayyah! Alas, a rebellious group will kill you. You will call them to Paradise and they will call you to Hell.' Upon this, Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) began to say, 'I seek refuge with the Most Merciful from all kinds of tribulations.'"
Hadith 11862
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was more modest than a veiled virgin girl, and when something displeased him, we would recognize it from his blessed face.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), during his final illness, came out with a band tied around his head and ascended the pulpit. I was also present. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "At this moment, I am standing at the Pond of Kawthar." Then he said, "Allah Almighty gave one of His servants the choice between the world and coming to Him, and that servant preferred to go to Allah." Among all the people, no one understood this except Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said, "May my parents be sacrificed for you; we will give our lives, wealth, and children for you." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) descended from the pulpit and was never seen on it again.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once there arose a difference of opinion between two men from Banu Khudrah and Banu Amr bin Auf regarding the identification of the mosque which was founded on piety from the very first day. The man from Amr's side held the opinion that it was the Mosque of Quba, while the man from Khudrah's side held that it was the Prophet's Mosque. Both of them came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked about it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), deciding the matter, said: "What is meant is my mosque, and there is abundant good in the Mosque of Quba."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once ascended the pulpit and said: "What I fear most for you is that Allah will bring forth for you the vegetation of the earth and the adornments of the world." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Can good also bring about evil?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent until we saw that revelation was being sent down upon him. Sweat and anxiety appeared on him, then he said, "Where is the questioner?" He replied, "I am present here, and my intention was only for good." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said three times, "Good always brings about good." However, this world is lush and sweet, and the wild grass that grows in the spring can cause an animal to bloat or die from indigestion, but the animal that grazes on ordinary grass keeps eating, and when its stomach is full, it comes into the sun, passes dung and urine, and then returns to eat again. Thus, a Muslim is very good in regard to the rights of the poor, the orphan, and the traveler, but the one who acquires it unjustly is like the person who keeps eating but is never satisfied, and it will testify against him on the Day of Resurrection.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a message was sent to Banu Lihyan that from every group one man should go out for jihad, and both will receive the reward. Then he said: O Allah! Grant blessing in our mudd and saa‘, and double this blessing.
Hadith 11868
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: None of you should consider himself so insignificant that he withholds saying a word for the sake of Allah’s pleasure, even though he has the right to say it, but does not say it. For Allah will ask him: What prevented you from saying that word? The servant will say: My Lord! I was afraid of the people. Allah will say: I was more deserving that you should fear Me.

It is narrated from Tariq bin Shihab that once Marwan had the pulpit brought out on the day of Eid, which was not customary, and he began delivering the sermon before the prayer, which had never happened before. Seeing this, a man stood up and said, "Marwan! You have opposed the Sunnah. You brought out the pulpit on the day of Eid, which was not done before, and you delivered the sermon before the prayer, which had never happened before." In that gathering, Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) was also present. He asked, "Who is this man?" People informed him that he is so-and-so, son of so-and-so. He said, "This person has fulfilled his responsibility. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he is not able to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart—and that is the weakest level of faith.'"

After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Why did you people take off your shoes?" The people replied, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we saw you taking off your shoes, so we also took them off." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Jibreel (the trustworthy) came to me and informed me that there was some impurity on my shoes. Therefore, when any one of you comes to the mosque, he should turn and look at his shoes. If he sees any impurity on them, he should rub them on the ground, and then pray in them."
Hadith 11878
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about 'azl (withdrawal of semen outside). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had given them all, he dusted off his hands and said: Whatever wealth comes to us, we will not withhold it from you and store it away. However, whoever wants to abstain, Allah saves him; whoever asks Allah for contentment, Allah grants him contentment; and whoever holds fast to patience, Allah gives him patience. And among the things you have been given, nothing is better and more vast than patience.

Is there anyone seeking forgiveness? Is there anyone supplicating? Is there anyone asking? This announcement continues until the break of dawn.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Just as we, the group of Prophets, are given double reward, likewise, we are also afflicted with double the trials. Some Prophets were tested with lice, and they used to kill them. Some Prophets were tested with poverty and hunger, to the extent that they would take a cloak and wrap their entire body in it. It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the Muslims will be saved from Hell on the Day of Resurrection and will be secure, then none among you in the world will have had such a severe dispute regarding his rightful claim as they will insist before their Lord about their brothers who have been admitted to Hell. They will say: O our Lord! These were our brothers, they used to pray with us, fast, and perform Hajj with us, and You have admitted them to Hell? Allah Almighty will say: Go and take out from Hell those whom you recognize. So they will come and recognize them by their faces, for the Fire will not have consumed their faces. Some will be seized by the Fire up to half of their shins, and some up to their knees. After taking them out, they will say: O our Lord! We have taken out those whom You commanded us to take out. Allah will say: Take out from Hell those in whose hearts is faith equal to a dinar, then those in whose hearts is faith equal to half a dinar, until Allah will say: Take out those in whose hearts is faith equal to a mustard seed. Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Whoever does not believe this should recite this verse: "Indeed, Allah does not wrong even the weight of a speck; and if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward." They will say: O our Lord! We have taken out all those whom You commanded us to take out, and now there is no one left in Hell in whom there is any good. Then Allah will say: The angels have interceded, the Prophets have interceded, and the Muslims have interceded; now only the Most Merciful of the merciful remains. So Allah will take out from Hell a handful or two handfuls of people; these will be those who never did any good deed. They will have been burnt and turned to coal. They will be brought to a river called "the Water of Life," and water will be poured over them, and they will grow forth as a seed grows in the flow of water, and their bodies will come out shining like pearls. On their necks will be the seal of "those freed by Allah," and it will be said to them: Enter Paradise; whatever you desire, you will receive better than that. They will say: O our Lord! What could be better than this? Allah will say: My pleasure; after today I will never be displeased with you.
