Musnad Ahmad

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are three types of people with whom Allah will neither speak on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He look at them with mercy, nor will He purify them, and for them there will be a painful punishment: a lying ruler, an old adulterer, and a proud poor person.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade buying and selling by touching or throwing pebbles.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade earnings from the prostitution of slave women.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The truest verse ever spoken by a poet is the verse of Labid: "Behold! Everything except Allah is false (perishable)."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Near the Day of Judgment, there will be widespread tribulations, killing (harj) will become abundant, and knowledge will be taken away. When Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) heard Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrating this hadith, he said: Knowledge will not be snatched from the chests of the scholars, rather the scholars themselves will be taken away.

It is narrated with the previous chain that I heard Abul Qasim, the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him), saying: The best among you are those who have good character and are jurists.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once saw a man driving a camel. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "Ride on it." He replied, "It is a sacrificial animal." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said, "Ride on it."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the day of Friday, there comes such an hour that if a Muslim servant happens to find it while he is standing and performing prayer and asking Allah for goodness, then Allah surely grants him that thing.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No townsman should trade on behalf of a villager.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you wants to sell his goat or she-camel, he should not tie up its udder.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once supplicated, saying: O Allah, fix the sustenance of the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to that which is just sufficient for their livelihood.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has granted my Ummah this concession that they will not be held accountable for the whispers that arise in their minds, provided that they do not act upon them or express them with their tongues.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever (being deceived) buys a she-camel or a goat whose teats have been tied, then he should either keep the animal with himself (and resolve the matter) or return the animal to its owner and along with it give one sa’ of dates.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best among you are those who have the best character.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Every child is born upon pure nature, then his parents make him a Jew, Christian, or polytheist. Someone asked, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), tell us what is the ruling about those children who die in infancy? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah knows best what they would have done when they grew up.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never found fault with any food; if he desired it, he would eat it, and if he did not desire it, he would remain silent.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I am invited to a meal of only a foreleg, I will accept it, and if I am invited to a meal of only a foot, I will still accept it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Those people who gather in a place for a meeting but do not remember Allah in it nor send blessings upon the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and then disperse, it will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Quraysh, Ansar, Juhaina, Muzaina, Aslam, Ghifar, and Ashja' tribes are my allies. They have no ally except Allah and His Messenger."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (In worldly matters) look at those who are below you, do not look at those who are above you; in this way, you will be saved from belittling the blessings of Allah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A man set out to visit his religious brother who lived in another town. Allah appointed an angel on his way. When he passed by the angel, the angel asked him, "Where are you going?" He replied, "I am going to meet such-and-such a man." The angel asked, "Is there any kinship between you two?" He said, "No." The angel asked, "Is there any favor of his upon you which you are repaying?" He said, "No." The angel asked, "Then why are you going to him?" He said, "I love him for the sake of Allah's pleasure." The angel said, "I have been sent to you by Allah as a messenger to inform you that because of your love for him, Allah loves you."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to the heels from the fire of Hell."

It is narrated with the previous chain that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to seek refuge with You from the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal) and from the trial of life and death.

It is narrated with the previous chain that I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: The blood of one who is killed by an animal is wasted; the blood of one who dies by falling into a well is wasted; the blood of one who dies in a mine is also wasted; and for buried treasure that someone finds, one-fifth (khums) is obligatory.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Guard yourselves against suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech. Do not spy on one another, do not seek out each other's faults, do not compete with one another, do not deceive one another, do not sever ties of kinship, do not harbor malice, and be, O servants of Allah, brothers to one another."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you performs istinja with stones, he should use an odd number of stones. When a dog licks the utensil of any one of you, he should wash it seven times. No one should be prevented from using extra water, for with it extra grass can be prevented (from drying up). And it is the right of the camel that when it is brought to the watering place, it should be milked there.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says, "I deal with My servant according to his expectation of Me. Whenever he remembers Me, I am with him. If he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My heart. If he remembers Me in a gathering, I remember him in a better gathering. If he comes near Me by a handspan, I come near him by an arm's length. If he comes near Me by an arm's length, I come near him by a fathom. And if he comes to Me walking, I come to him running."

It is narrated from the previous chain that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: I will continue to fight until they say "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah). When they say this word, they have protected their lives and wealth from me, except for the right of this word, and their reckoning is with Allah the Exalted.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As long as I leave you regarding a matter, you too leave me regarding it, because the nations before you were destroyed only due to their excessive questioning and differing with their prophets. Whatever I forbid you from, abstain from it, and whatever I command you to do, do it to the best of your ability."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: None of you will be saved by his deeds. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), not even you? He replied: Not even me, unless my Lord covers me with His forgiveness and mercy. But remain close to the straight path, stay on the right way, and accept the glad tidings.

It is narrated with the same chain that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By Allah! I do not give you anything nor withhold from you; I am only a distributor. Wherever I am commanded, I place it.

It is narrated with the previous chain that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I am the closest of all people to Jesus (peace be upon him). All the prophets (peace be upon them) are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In Paradise, there is a tree such that if a rider were to travel in its shade for a hundred years, he would still not be able to cross it. If you wish, recite this verse: "They will be in extended and long shades." And for the coolness of their eyes, what things have been concealed.

It is narrated from the same chain that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The place in Paradise for any of you to keep his bow or whip will be better than all those things upon which the sun rises and sets.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) will descend as a just leader and fair ruler. He will break the cross, kill the swine, abolish the jizya, and swords will be made into sickles. The sting of every stinging creature will be removed. The sky will send down its sustenance, and the earth will bring forth its blessings, so much so that children will play with snakes and the snakes will not harm them. A sheep or goat will be guarded and it will not be harmed, and a lion will look after cattle and it will not harm them.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best charity is a milking goat which becomes a source of reward morning and evening. The charity of a milking she-camel is like freeing a person of fair complexion, and the charity of a milking goat is like freeing a black person.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the call to prayer (adhan) is given, Satan runs away while passing wind loudly so that he does not hear the adhan. When the adhan is finished, he returns and puts whispers into the heart of a person so that he forgets. Therefore, if any of you has doubt in his prayer, after saying salam, while sitting, he should perform two prostrations of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person gets up from his place and goes away, then after returning, he is the most deserving of that place.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Madinah Munawwarah and Makkah Mukarramah are under the protection of angels, and there are angels guarding all their entrances, therefore Dajjal or plague cannot enter here.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No person should make another get up from his place, rather make room for each other, Allah will make room for you. And when any of you has a servant who has taken care of his food by bearing its heat and hardship, he should make him sit with him and eat; if he cannot do so, then he should give him at least one morsel.
