Hadith 26157
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not perform ablution after taking a bath.
Hadith 26158
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray at night, the last prayer he performed was the Witr prayer.
Hadith 26159
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray nine rak'ahs at night.

عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا نُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ , فَلَمْ أَطُفْ , فَقُلْتُ : يَرْجِعُونَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجَّةٍ وَأَرْجِعُ بِحَجَّةٍ ؟ قَالَتْ صَفِيَّةُ : مَا أُرَانِي إِلَّا حَابِسَتَكُمْ , قَالَ :
" عَقْرَى حَلْقَى " , قَالَ : " طُفْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ؟ " , قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ , قَالَتْ : فَأَمَرَهَا فَنَفَرَتْ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and our intention was only to perform Hajj. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Will your companions return with both Hajj and Umrah, and I will return with only Hajj?" Meanwhile, Hazrat Safiyyah's "days" (menstruation) began. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "These women cut and shave (i.e., cause delay), you will force us to stay. Did you not perform the Tawaf al-Ziyarah on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah?" She replied, "Why not." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then there is no harm, now you may depart."
Hadith 26161

عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُنْذُ نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ يُصَلِّي صَلَاةً إِلَّا دَعَا , وَقَالَ :
" سُبْحَانَكَ رَبِّي وَبِحَمْدِكَ , اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that after the revelation of Surah Nasr, whenever I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would certainly say this supplication: "Subhanaka Rabbiy wa bihamdika Allahumma ighfir li."
Hadith 26162
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that (I used to apply the best perfume available with me to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and it is as if that scene is still before my eyes that in the state of Ihram, I was seeing the shine of musk on the head of the Prophet (peace be upon him)).

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I used to apply the best perfume I had to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and it is as if that scene is still before my eyes that I was seeing the shine of musk on the head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in the state of Ihram.
Hadith 26164

يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ
مَنْصُورٍ , عَنْ
إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنِ
الْأَسْوَدِ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ حَاضَتْ قَبْلَ النَّفْرِ , فَسَأَلَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ :
" كُنْتِ طُفْتِ طَوَافَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ ؟ " قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ , فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَنْفِرَ , فَنَفَرَتْ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that before departing, Hazrat Safiyyah's "days" (menstruation) began. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Will you keep us from departing?" "Did you not perform the Tawaf al-Ziyarah on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah?" She replied, "Why not?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then there is no harm, now you may depart."
Hadith 26165
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was never as eager for anything as he was for the two rak'ahs before Fajr.
Hadith 26166

شَرِيكٌ , عَنْ
خَصِيفٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي
رَجُلٌ مُنْذُ ثَلَاثِينَ سَنَةً , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : أَجْمَرْتُ شَعْرِي إِجْمَارًا شَدِيدًا , فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ,
أَمَا عَلِمْتِ أَنَّ عَلَى كُلِّ شَعَرَةٍ جَنَابَةً ؟ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I tied my hair into a very tight braid, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "O Aisha! Do you not know that the effect of janabah reaches every strand of hair?"
Hadith 26167
Shurayh says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the prayer?" She replied that he used to perform the Zuhr prayer and after that he would perform two rak'ahs.
Hadith 26168

مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
إِسْرَائِيلُ , عَنِ
الْمِقْدَامِ , عَنْ
أَبِيهِ , أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ
عَائِشَةَ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ ؟ قَالَتْ : " كَانَ
يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ , ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ , فَإِذَا دَخَلَ تَسَوَّكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter his house at night, the first thing he would do was use the miswak, and when he would leave the house, the last thing he would do before leaving was to perform the two rak'ahs before Fajr.
Hadith 26169
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer two short rak'ahs before Fajr, then would lie down on his right side.

أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
مُطَرِّفٌ , عَنِ
الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ
مَسْرُوقٍ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
يَبِيتُ جُنُبًا فَيَأْتِيهِ بِلَالٌ , فَيُؤْذِنُهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ , فَيَقُومُ فَيَغْتَسِلُ , فَأَنْظُرُ إِلَى تَحَادُرِ الْمَاءِ فِي شَعْرِهِ وَجِلْدِهِ , ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ , فَأَسْمَعُ صَوْتَهُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ , ثُمَّ يَظَلُّ صَائِمًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be in a state of impurity by choice in the morning, so he would perform ghusl, and drops of water would be dripping from his hair and body, and he would go for prayer, and I would listen to his recitation, and on that day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be fasting.
Hadith 26171

عَامِرٍ , عَنْ
مَسْرُوقٍ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
يَظَلُّ صَائِمًا , مَا يُبَالِي مَا قَبَّلَ مِنْ وَجْهِي حَتَّى يُفْطِرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss me while he was fasting and did not consider it objectionable.
Hadith 26172
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted performing ruqyah (spiritual healing) for every creature that stings.
Hadith 26173
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The part of the lower garment which hangs below the ankles will be in the Hellfire."
Hadith 26174
حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
وَائِلٌ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
الْبَهِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، أَنَّ
عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ :
" مَا بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَيْدَ بْنَ حَارِثَةَ فِي جَيْشٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا أَمَّرَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ , وَإِنْ بَقِيَ بَعْدَهُ اسْتَخْلَفَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Hazrat Zaid bin Harithah with an army, he appointed him as the commander of that army: If he had lived after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would have appointed him as his successor.
Hadith 26175

الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ
إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنِ
الْأَسْوَدِ , قَالَ : اعْتَلَجَ نَاسٌ , فَأَصَابَ طُنُبُ الْفُسْطَاطِ عَيْنَ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ , فَضَحِكُوا , فَقَالَتْ
عَائِشَةُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :
" مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ تَشُوكُهُ شَوْكَةٌ , فَمَا فَوْقَهَا , إِلَّا حَطَّ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ خَطِيئَةً , وَرَفَعَ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever a Muslim is afflicted with a thorn prick or any hardship even less than that, then in return, one of his ranks is elevated and one of his sins is forgiven.
Hadith 26176
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never ate his fill of wheat bread for three consecutive days, until he departed from this world.
Hadith 26177
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl of janabah from the same vessel of water.
Hadith 26178
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), during his illness "from which he did not recover," said: May Allah's curse be upon the Jews and Christians; they made the graves of their prophets (peace be upon them) places of prostration. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) only feared that his grave might be made a place of prostration, otherwise there would have been no harm in leaving the blessed grave open.
Hadith 26179
حَدَّثَنَا
عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا
مَالِكٌ , عَنِ
الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ
عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
" أَمَرَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ فَأَرْضَعَتْ سَالِمًا خَمْسَ رَضَعَاتٍ , فَكَانَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا بِتِلْكَ الرَّضَاعَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the wife of Abu Hudhaifah to give five sips of milk to Salim, then because of this suckling, he used to come to them.
Hadith 26180
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said this regarding a Jewish woman: "These people are weeping over her, while she is being punished in the grave."
Hadith 26181
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes I would be lying in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and my feet would be in the direction of the Qiblah. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would go into prostration, he would pinch me and I would draw in my feet. When he would stand up, I would stretch them out again, and at that time there were no lamps in the houses.
Hadith 26182
حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي
جَعْفَرُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي
مُعَاذَةُ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ
عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" فَنَاءُ أُمَّتِي بِالطَّعْنِ وَالطَّاعُونِ " , قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , هَذَا الطَّعْنُ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ , فَمَا الطَّاعُونُ ؟ قَالَ : " غُدَّةٌ كَغُدَّةِ الْإِبِلِ , الْمُقِيمُ فِيهَا كَالشَّهِيدِ , وَالْفَارُّ مِنْهَا كَالْفَارِّ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ " .
Mu’adhah ‘Adawiyyah says that once I was present in the service of Hazrat ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), so she said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “My ummah will only be destroyed by spear fighting and plague.” I asked, “O Messenger of Allah! We understand the meaning of spear fighting, but what is meant by plague?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “It is a swelling that resembles the swelling of a camel. Whoever remains steadfast in it will be like a martyr, and whoever flees from it will be like one who flees from the battlefield.”
Hadith 26183
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever flees from the plague is like one who flees from the battlefield.
Hadith 26184
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade performing prayer at the time of sunrise or sunset.
Hadith 26185
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed Witr, he would offer two rak'ahs while sitting.
Hadith 26186
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that several times I have scraped semen from the clothes of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with my fingers.
Hadith 26187
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ , حَدَّثَنَا
طَلْحَةُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي
وَرْقَاءُ ، أَنَّ
عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :
" مَنْ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ هَمَّهُ قَضَاؤُهُ , أَوْ هَمَّ بِقَضَائِهِ , لَمْ يَزَلْ مَعَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حَارِسٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever is in debt and is concerned about its repayment, then a constant guardian from Allah remains with him.
Hadith 26188
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to exert himself in worship during the last ten days of Ramadan more than at any other time.
Hadith 26189
حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
مَالِكٌ , عَنِ
الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ
عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ
إِذَا مَرِضَ قَرَأَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بِالْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ وَيَنْفُثُ , قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَلَمَّا ثَقُلَ جَعَلْتُ أَنْفُثُ عَلَيْهِ بِهِمَا , وَأَمْسَحُ بِيَمِينِهِ الْتِمَاسَ بَرَكَتِهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would become ill, he would recite the Mu'awwidhatayn and blow over himself. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted with the illness of his final days, I would hold his blessed hand, recite these words, and then pass the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) hand over his body, so that the blessing of his hand might be obtained.
Hadith 26190
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss his wives while he was fasting.
Hadith 26191
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever invents something in our way other than this way of ours, it is rejected.
Hadith 26192
حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادٌ , حَدَّثَنَا
أَفْلَحُ , عَنِ
الْقَاسِمِ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
يُصْبِحُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ , فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ يَوْمَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slept while in a state requiring ghusl (ritual bath). When morning came, he performed ghusl and kept the fast of that day.
Hadith 26193

حَمَّادٌ وَأَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ مَوْلَى عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ
عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : مَنْ أَذَلَّ لِي وَلِيًّا , فَقَدْ اسْتَحَلَّ مُحَارَبَتِي , وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ عَبْدِي بِمِثْلِ أَدَاءِ الْفَرَائِضِ , وَمَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ , إِنْ سَأَلَنِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ , وَإِنْ دَعَانِي أَجَبْتُهُ , مَا تَرَدَّدْتُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ أَنَا فَاعِلُهُ تَرَدُّدِي عَنْ وَفَاتِهِ , لِأَنَّهُ يَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ , وَأَكْرَهُ مَسَاءَتَهُ " , قَالَ أَبِي : وَقَالَ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ : قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ , وَقَالَ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ آذَى لِي.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says, "Whoever humiliates any of My friends has declared war against Me, and My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligations I have enjoined upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts until I love him. Then, when I love him, if he asks of Me, I grant him, and if he supplicates to Me, I accept his supplication. And I do not hesitate in anything as I hesitate in taking the soul of My servant, for he dislikes death and I dislike to harm him."
Hadith 26194
Someone asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do when he was at home. She replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was also a human being; he used to clean his clothes, milk the goat, and do his own work with his own hands.

عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَجِدُ الْبَلَلَ , وَلَا يَذْكُرُ احْتِلَامًا , قَالَ :
" يَغْتَسِلُ " وَعَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَرَى أَنَّهُ قَدْ احْتَلَمَ , وَلَا يَرَى بَلَلًا , قَالَ : " لَا غُسْلَ عَلَيْهِ " فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ : هَلْ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى ذَلِك شَيْءٌ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ , إِنَّمَا النِّسَاءُ شَقَائِقُ الرِّجَالِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the ruling for a man who sees wetness but does not remember a dream. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that he should perform ghusl (ritual bath). The questioner asked, "What about a man who thinks he saw a dream but does not find any wetness—what is the ruling?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "There is no ghusl upon him." Hazrat Umm Sulaim asked, "If a woman sees something like that, is ghusl obligatory upon her as well?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes! For women are the counterparts of men."
Hadith 26196
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss his wives while he was fasting.
