It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we recited the Talbiyah for Hajj, and when we reached the place of Sarif, my "periods" began. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and I was crying. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Aisha! Why are you crying?" I replied, "My 'periods' have started. I wish I had not come for Hajj." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Subhan Allah! This is something Allah has decreed for all the daughters of Adam (peace be upon him). You should perform all the rites, except do not perform the Tawaf of the House (Ka'bah)." When we entered Makkah Mukarramah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever wishes to change his Ihram to that of Umrah may do so, except for the one who has a sacrificial animal with him." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered a cow on behalf of his wives on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah. On the night of Batha, I became "pure" and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Will my companions return with both Hajj and Umrah, and I will return with only Hajj?" So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr, and he took me to Tan'eem, from where I entered into Ihram for Umrah.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the people who will receive the severest punishment from Allah Almighty will be those who try to imitate Allah in creation.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once she made a black woolen cloak for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wore it, but when he perspired and the smell of wool became noticeable in it, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took it off because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked pleasant fragrances.
Yazid bin Babnoos says that once I, along with my companion, presented myself before Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and sought permission from her. She arranged a cushion for us and drew a curtain towards herself. Then my companion asked, "O Mother of the Believers! What do you say about 'Iraak'?" She replied, "What is Iraak?" I struck my companion on the shoulder. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) stopped me and said, "You have hurt your brother." Then she asked, "What is meant by Iraak? Menstruation? Then say directly the word that Allah has used, that is, menstruation. Sometimes I would be menstruating, but even then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would embrace me and kiss my head, and there would be a curtain between me and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Then she said, "It was the blessed habit of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that whenever he passed by the door of my house, he would say something from which Allah would benefit me. One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by but said nothing. When this happened two or three times, I told my maid to place a cushion for me at the door, and I tied a band around my head and sat there. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me, he said, 'Aisha! What is the matter?' I replied, 'My head is hurting.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'My head is also hurting.' Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left. A little while later, people brought the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wrapped in a sheet. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed with me and sent a message to the other wives that he was ill and did not have the strength to visit each of them in turn, so if they permitted, he would stay with Aisha. They all gave permission, and I began to nurse the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), although I had never nursed anyone before."
"One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had placed his blessed head on my shoulder when suddenly his blessed head drooped towards my head. I thought perhaps he wanted to kiss my head, but at that moment, a drop of saliva came from the mouth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and fell on my chest. My hair stood on end, and I thought perhaps the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had fainted, so I covered him with a sheet. Meanwhile, Hazrat Umar and Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with them) arrived. They sought permission, I granted it, and drew the curtain towards myself. Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, 'Oh, unconsciousness! How severe is the unconsciousness upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)!' After a short while, they stood up, and when they reached near the door, Mughirah bin Shu’bah said, 'O Umar! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has passed away.' Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, 'You are wrong; rather, you are a troublemaker. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cannot pass away until Allah eliminates the hypocrites.'"
"A little while later, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) also arrived. I lifted the veil. He looked at the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), recited 'Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un,' and said, 'The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has passed away.' Then he came from the side of the head, bent over the blessed face, kissed the forehead, and said, 'Oh, my Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)!' He did this three times, the second time saying, 'Oh, my friend,' and the third time, 'Oh, my beloved.' Then he went towards the mosque. At that time, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was addressing and speaking to the people, saying that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not pass away until Allah eliminated the hypocrites. Then Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) began to speak, and after praising Allah, he said, 'Allah says: "You (O Muhammad) will die, and they too will die..." and that "Muhammad is but a Messenger; Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels?" So whoever worshipped Allah should know that Allah is alive, and whoever worshipped Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) should know that he has passed away.' Upon hearing these verses, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, 'Are these verses in the Book of Allah? My mind had not even gone to the fact that this verse is in the Book of Allah.' Then Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, 'O people! This is Abu Bakr, and he is the elder of the Muslims, so pledge allegiance to him.' Thus, the people pledged allegiance to him."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that sometimes when the Prophet (peace be upon him) would wake up at night and pray, one corner of the blanket would be over the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the other corner would be over Aisha Siddiqah, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) would continue to pray.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to offer a sacrifice, he would purchase two rams that were fat, healthy, horned, beautiful, and castrated. He would slaughter one of them on behalf of those people of his Ummah who remained firm on the declaration of the Oneness of Allah and bore witness that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had conveyed the message of Allah, and the other animal he would sacrifice on behalf of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the family of Muhammad.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes stay with Zainab bint Jahsh and drink honey at her place. I and Hafsa made an agreement that whichever of us the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to, she would say, "I find the smell of maghafir from you; have you eaten maghafir?" So when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to one of them, she said this. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I drank honey at Zainab's place and I will never drink it again." Upon this, the verse was revealed: "Why do you make unlawful for yourself that which Allah has made lawful for you...?" If you two (Aisha and Hafsa) repent...
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) in the morning, so he would perform ghusl (ritual bath) and proceed towards the mosque, and at that time drops of water would be dripping from the blessed head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he would make the intention to fast for that day.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) spent the night in seclusion with one of his wives and slept while in a state requiring ghusl (ritual bath). When morning came, he performed ghusl and kept the fast for that day.
Hazrat Muhammad bin Qais bin Makhramah narrates that one day he said: Shall I not tell you about an incident that happened to me and my mother? We said: Why not. He said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) was with me on the night of my turn, when he turned over, covered himself with his sheet, took off his shoes and placed them by his feet, spread the edge of his sheet on his bed, and lay down. He stayed for so long that he thought I had fallen asleep. The Prophet (peace be upon him) quietly put on his shoes, quietly opened the door, and went out, then quietly closed it. I covered my head with my sheet, put on my lower garment, and followed the Prophet (peace be upon him) until he reached Baqi’ and stood there for a long time. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) raised his hands three times. Then he returned and I also returned. He walked quickly, so I walked quickly. He ran, so I ran. He reached (home), so I also reached. I overtook the Prophet (peace be upon him) and lay down as soon as I entered. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) came, he said: O Aisha! What has happened to you that you are out of breath? I said: Nothing. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Tell me, otherwise the All-Aware, the All-Knowing, that is, Allah Almighty, will inform me. So I said: O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you. Then I told you the whole story. He said: The black thing I saw ahead of me was you. I said: Yes! So the Prophet (peace be upon him) struck me on my chest (out of affection), which caused me pain, then said: Did you think that Allah and His Messenger would be unjust to you? She says: When people hide something, Allah knows it well. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me. When you saw, he called me and hid from you, so I also preferred to hide it from you. And he did not come to you because you had taken off your clothes, and I thought you had fallen asleep and did not want to wake you up. I also feared that you would be frightened. Jibreel (peace be upon him) said: Your Lord has commanded you to go to Baqi’ and seek forgiveness for them. I said: O Messenger of Allah! What should I say? He said: …………. …………. Say: "O Allah, have mercy on those who have gone ahead of us and those who come later, and surely, we will join you, if Allah wills."

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) sought permission from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to visit these people for inquiry, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted her permission. Then I asked Amir, and he recited this verse: "I feel death before tasting its bitterness, and the graveyard has come close to my face." Then I asked Bilal about his condition, and he recited this verse: "Alas! It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a cloud rising at the edge of the sky, he would leave every task, even if he was in prayer, and would supplicate: "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from its evil." When it cleared, he would offer thanks, and when he saw rain falling, he would say: "O Allah! Let it be heavy and beneficial."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that after the first revelation descended, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned to Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), and his heart was beating rapidly. As soon as he entered the house, he said, "Cover me with something." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was covered with a blanket. When this state ended, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Khadijah! I began to fear that some calamity might descend upon me." He said this twice. Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) replied, "Receive glad tidings! By Allah, Allah will never forsake you. You always speak the truth, maintain ties of kinship, bear the burdens of others, honor guests, and help people in matters of truth." After this, Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) took the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to Waraqah bin Nawfal. He had accepted Christianity and had become very old and blind, and had read the Gospel in Arabic. Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to him, "Uncle! Listen to your nephew." Waraqah asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Nephew! What do you see?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) described all the things he had seen. Waraqah said, "This is the same Namus (angel) who descended upon Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him). Alas! If only I had strength at that time and I were alive when your people will expel you." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Will these people expel me?" Waraqah said, "Yes! No one has ever come with a message like yours except that people showed enmity towards him. If I live to see your time, I will give you strong support."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those who make pictures will be subjected to punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them, "Give life to what you have created."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never performed the Duha prayer, but she used to perform it and said that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), despite loving a certain deed, would abandon it lest people start acting upon it and it becomes obligatory upon them (and then they might not be able to do it). Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) preferred that there be more ease in the obligations upon the people.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever two things were presented before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and one of them was easier, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would choose the easier one, unless it was a sin, because if it was a sin, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was the farthest of people from it. And if any disrespect was shown towards the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he would never take revenge for himself, but if the sanctities of Allah were violated, he would take revenge for the sake of Allah.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to send sacrificial animals (hadi) to Makkah Mukarramah, and I used to tie the collars of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificial animals, that is, goats. After that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not refrain from anything (from which a pilgrim in the state of ihram refrains). This is also narrated from the previous hadith and through another chain of narration.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I used to apply the best perfume I had to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and it is as if that scene is still before my eyes that I was seeing the shine of musk on the head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in the state of Ihram.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned Hazrat Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), we informed him that her "days" (menstruation) had begun. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "These women cut and shave (i.e., delay and hinder), will she force us to stay?" We said, "O Messenger of Allah! She performed the Tawaf al-Ziyarah on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then there is no harm, now you may depart."
Narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted with his final illness, once Hazrat Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came to inform him about the prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Abu Bakr is a soft-hearted man; when he stands in your place, he will begin to weep and will not be able to control himself. Therefore, please order Umar to do it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again gave the same order, and we repeated our statement. For the third time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer. You are like the women around Yusuf." So I sent the message to my father. After a while, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) felt some relief from his illness and came out supported by two men, such that his feet were dragging lines on the ground. When Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) realized this, he began to step back, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured to him to remain in his place. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then sat on one side of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him). Thus, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) was following the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the people were following Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him).
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever makes a vow to obey Allah should obey Him, and whoever makes a vow to disobey Allah should not disobey Him. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
