Amr bin Ghalib says that once I, Ammar, and Ashtar went to the service of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). Ammar said, "Mother!" She replied, "I am not your mother." He said, "By Allah, you are my mother even if you do not like this." She asked, "Who is with you?" Ammar informed her, "This is Ashtar." She said, "Are you the one who tried to kill my nephew?" Ashtar said, "Yes! I intended to do so, and he also intended the same." She said, "If you had done so, you would never have succeeded, and I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that it is not permissible to shed the blood of a Muslim except for one of three reasons: committing adultery despite being married, becoming a disbeliever after accepting Islam, or killing a person for which he is killed in retaliation."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: When the time comes for a Prophet's soul to be taken, he is given the choice that he may be returned to that reward and joined with it (or sent back to the world). During the illness of death, I was supporting the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) against my chest when suddenly I saw that his neck dropped. I heard him saying, "With those upon whom Allah has bestowed His favor, such as the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and excellent are those as companions." So I understood that he had been given the choice.
Hadith 25702

Hadith 25703
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave us the choice to stay with him or to choose the world. We chose the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not consider it as any divorce upon us.
Hadith 25704
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The most detested person is the one who is extremely quarrelsome.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once she asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the meaning of the verse "Those who give what they give while their hearts are fearful." She said, "O Messenger of Allah! Is it about the person who commits theft, adultery, and drinks alcohol, and then fears Allah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "O daughter of Abu Bakr, O daughter of the Truthful! This verse is about the person who performs prayer, fasts, and gives charity, and then fears Allah."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a Jewish woman came to us and said, "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave." She (Aisha) says that this matter settled in my heart. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, I mentioned this incident to him and asked, "O Messenger of Allah!
