It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a Jewish woman came to us and said, "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave." When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, I mentioned this incident to him and asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Is there punishment in the grave as well?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes! The punishment of the grave is true." After that, whenever I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing any prayer, he sought refuge from the punishment of the grave in it.

Muhammad bin Muntashir says that he asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) about this issue: Can a man apply perfume to his Ihram (before making the intention for Ihram)? He replied: I would prefer to apply tar to my clothes rather than do that. He then asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) the same question and also mentioned Ibn Umar’s answer in detail. She said: May Allah have mercy on Abu Abdur Rahman! I myself used to apply perfume to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would go to his wives, and in the morning he would make the intention for Ihram, and the fragrance of perfume would be emanating from his Ihram.
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Shaqiq that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) fast on specific days of the month?" She replied, "Yes!"

Shortly after, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me and he was in a state of anger. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Who has made you angry? May Allah cast him into Hell." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Just look, I commanded the people to do something, and then I see them hesitant. If this matter that has come before me now had come earlier, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me, but would have bought it here after arriving. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ended his Ihram just as the people ended their Ihram."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she wanted to buy Barirah in order to set her free, but her owners made her allegiance (wala’) a condition for themselves. I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Buy her and set her free, for the inheritance of the slave belongs to the one who sets her free.” Also, people used to give her (Barirah) something as charity, and she would give us some of it as a gift. I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “It is charity for her, and for you it is a gift, so you may eat it.” The narrator says that her husband was a free man.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that (I used to apply the best perfume I had to the Prophet ﷺ and) it is as if that scene is still before my eyes that I saw the shine of musk on the head of the Prophet ﷺ while he was in the state of Ihram.
Narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to return after Hajj, he saw Hazrat Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) at the door of her tent, sad and distressed because her menstrual period had started. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "These women cut and shave (i.e., cause delay), you will make us stay. Did you perform the Tawaf al-Ziyarah on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah?" She replied, "Why not?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then there is no harm, now depart."

I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) during his illness of death, his neck had dropped, and I heard him saying: "With those upon whom Allah has bestowed His favor, such as the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and what a good companionship they are." I understood that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had been given the choice at that moment.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this in bowing and prostration: Subbuhun Quddusun Rabbul Mala’ikati war-Ruh.
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated to Aswad bin Yazid regarding the night prayer of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to sleep in the early part of the night and wake up in the last part of the night. Then, if he felt a need towards his wife, he would fulfill his need, then before touching water, he would stand up. When the first call to prayer (adhan) was given, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would quickly go and pour water over his body, and if he was not in a state of major impurity (janabah), he would only perform the ablution (wudu) for prayer and then go for the prayer.

He says, "I said to him that she narrated to me a hadith, the first part of which I remember: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'If your people had not been close to the time of ignorance, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and brought it down to the level of the ground and made two doors for it.'" Accordingly, after becoming caliph, Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) did exactly that.

I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Then why do you not return it to the foundation of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him)?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If your people were not close to the time of disbelief, I would have done so." When Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) heard this hadith, he said, "By Allah, if Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) heard this hadith from the Prophet (peace be upon him), then I think that the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not touch the two corners adjacent to the Hatim for this very reason: that the construction of the House of Allah was not completed on the foundations of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and the Prophet (peace be upon him) wanted that people should include the entire House of Allah in their circumambulation, according to the foundations of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him)."
Narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, we set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I put on the Ihram for Umrah, and I did not have a sacrificial animal with me. I was in my days (of menstruation). On the night of Arafah, I said, "O Messenger of Allah! I had put on the Ihram for Umrah, what should I do now in Hajj?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Undo your hair and comb it, and leave the Umrah and perform Hajj." It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to the mosque and started offering prayer, people gathered and they also joined the Prophet (peace be upon him) in prayer. The next night, more people gathered than before, and the same happened on the third day. On the fourth day, so many people gathered that there was no room left in the mosque for anyone else to enter, but that day the Prophet (peace be upon him) stayed at home and did not come out. Then when he led the Fajr prayer, he said: "Your condition tonight was not hidden from me, but I feared that this prayer might become obligatory upon you and then you would not be able to perform it, and this was during Ramadan."

Abu Yunus, who was the freed slave of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), says: Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) ordered me to write a copy of the Noble Qur'an for her, and she said: When you reach this verse, "Guard strictly the prayers, especially the middle prayer," then inform me. So when I reached there, I informed her. She had me write this verse: "Guard strictly the prayers, especially the middle prayer and the Asr prayer, and stand before Allah with devotion," and she said: I heard this verse from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in this way.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never performed the Duha prayer. Sometimes, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would abandon a deed despite loving it, only because he feared that people might start acting upon it and as a result, it would become obligatory upon them (and then they might not be able to do it). Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) preferred that there should be more ease in the obligations upon the people.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that three cases regarding Barirah came before us: she was freed, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her the choice to remain in the marriage or not, and she chose for herself (ended her marriage with her husband). Also, people used to give her something as charity, and she would give us some of it as a gift. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was referring to the foster uncle of Hazrat Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her). I said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! If such-and-such a man, that is, my foster uncle, were alive, could he also come to me?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes! Because all those relationships become prohibited due to fosterage which become prohibited due to lineage."

The people came to Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Look at what Aisha has done? She has made the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the people stop at a place where there is no water." Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to me while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had his head on my thigh. He said, "You have detained the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the people, and they do not even have water," and he scolded me severely and said to me whatever Allah willed, and he began poking his hand into my side, and I could not move because the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) blessed head was on my thigh. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept sleeping like that, and the people did not find water until morning. Then Allah Almighty revealed the command of tayammum (dry ablution). Upon this, Hazrat Usayd bin Hudayr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O family of Abu Bakr! This is not your first blessing."
