It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), during his illness of death, came out with a cloth wrapped around his head and said: "O people! Mankind will continue to increase, but the Ansar will continue to decrease. Therefore, whoever among you attains authority and is able to benefit someone, let him accept the virtues of the Ansar and overlook their mistakes."
