Hadith 38965
٣٨٩٦٥ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود عن عائشة قالت: قال النبي ﷺ: "أطيب ما أكل الرجل من كسبه، وولده من كسبه" (١).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The purest thing a person eats is that which he earns himself, and a person's children are also part of his earnings.
Hadith 38966
٣٨٩٦٦ - حدثنا ابن أبي زائدة عن الأعمش عن عمارة بن عمير (عن عمته) (١) عن عائشة قالت: قال النبي ﷺ: "إن أطيب ما أكتم من كسبكم، ⦗٢٥٥⦘ وإن أولادكم من كسبكم" (٢).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Of whatever you eat, the pure wealth is that which you have earned, and your children are also your earnings.
Hadith 38967
٣٨٩٦٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن ابن أبي ليلى (١) عن الشعبي قال: جاء رجل من الأنصار إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول اللَّه إن أبي غصبني مالي؟ فقال: "أنت ومالك لأبيك" (٢).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that an Ansari came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! My father has usurped my wealth." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You and your wealth belong to your father."
Hadith 38968
٣٨٩٦٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن محمد بن المنكدر قال: جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول اللَّه إن لي مالا ولأبي مال؟ قال: "أنت ومالك لأبيك" (١).
Hazrat Muhammad bin Munkadir narrates that a man came to the blessed service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I have wealth and my father also has wealth. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You and your wealth belong to your father.
Hadith 38969
٣٨٩٦٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن إبراهيم بن عبد الأعلى عن سويد بن غفلة عن عائشة قالت: يأكل الرجل من مال ولده ما شاء، ولا يأكل الولد من مال والده إلا بإذنه (١).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that a man can eat as much as he wishes from the wealth of his children, but the children cannot eat from their father's wealth without his permission.
Hadith 38970
٣٨٩٧٠ - حدثنا أبو خالد عن حجاج عن عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده قال: جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: إن أبي (اجتاح) (١) مالي قال: "أنت ومالك لأبيك" (٢).
Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his grandfather that a man came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "My father is in need of my wealth." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You and your wealth belong to your father." And (Imam) Abu Hanifa's opinion has been mentioned that: If the father is in need, he can take from the wealth of his children and spend on himself, otherwise not.
