Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The angels do not accompany the group with whom there is a bell.

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The angels do not accompany the person who has a bell with him, nor the person who has a dog with him.

Hazrat Thabit, the freed slave of Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates that Ummul Momineen Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The angels do not accompany the one who has bells with him.

Hazrat Yazid bin Al-Asam (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to dislike the sound of the bell.

Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I brought an unshaped lump of gold to Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila (may Allah have mercy on him), so he (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Perhaps you intend to make bells out of it; indeed, this is disliked.

Hazrat Asim bin Abi Najood (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Every bell is from among the minions of Satan.

Hazrat Zararah bin Aufi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The angels do not accompany the person who has a bell with him.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Aamir Al-Aslami (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Mak'hool (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Indeed, the angels clean the animals of the Mujahideen except for the horse on which there is a bell.

Hazrat Khalid bin Ma'dan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that some people passed by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with a she-camel that had a bell around its neck. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is the mount of Satan.
