Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Mughira narrates that Ibrahim said: The inheritance of a foundling (laqit) is according to the ruling of found property (luqata).

Hisham narrates that Hasan said: The wealth mixed with it is for the Bayt al-Mal and for those who inherit from him.

Zuhri narrates that Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the inheritance of a foundling child to the person who had taken care of him.

Abdul Wahid Nasri narrates from Hazrat Wasila bin Asqa that he said: A woman inherits from three persons: from a fostered child, from a freed slave, and a woman who has done li'an from her son.
