Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Muammar narrates that Hazrat Zuhri said, he will inherit in two lineages according to the closer lineage.

Qatadah narrates that Hasan said regarding the man who leaves behind his daughter, and she is also his sister and his wife, that she will inherit on the basis of the closest kinship, and Hazrat Qatadah says that all the wealth should be given to that woman.

Muammar narrates that Hazrat Zuhri said that a Magian will inherit only in one respect.

A student of Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to make a Magian an heir in two respects.

Yazid bin Haroon says that I asked Hazrat Hammad bin Salamah about the inheritance of a Magian; he replied that they will inherit from the direction which is lawful.
