Hadith 33209
٣٣٢٠٩ - حدثنا وكيع قال ثنا زكريا عن عامر قال: سئل مسروق عن رجل مات وليس له وارث إلا خاله (و) (١) ابنة (أخيه) (٢)، قال: للخال نصيب (أخته) (٣) ولابنة الأخ نصيب أبيها.
Hazrat Aamir says that Hazrat Masrooq was asked about a man who died leaving no heir except a maternal uncle and a niece. He replied: The maternal uncle will receive as much as his (the deceased's) sister would have, and the niece will receive as much as her (the deceased's) father would have.
Hadith 33210
٣٣٢١٠ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن محمد بن إسحاق عن محمد بن يحيى بن حبان عن عمه واسع بن حبان قال: هلك (ابن دحداحة) (١) وكان ذا رأي فيهم، فدعا رسول اللَّه ﷺ عاصم بن عدي فقال: "هل كان (له) (٢) فيكم (نسب) (٣) "، قال: لا، ⦗٢٧١⦘ قال: فأعطى رسول اللَّه ﷺ ميراثه ابن أخته أبا لبابة بن عبد المنذر (٤).
Hazrat Wasi’ bin Hibban narrates that Hazrat Ibn Dahdahah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, who was a man of sound judgment among the Companions. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called Hazrat Asim bin ‘Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked, “Did you have any kinship with him?” He replied, “No.” The narrator says that then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave his inheritance to his nephew, Abu Lubabah bin ‘Abd al-Mundhir (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 33211
٣٣٢١١ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم عن وهيب عن ابن طاوس عن أبيه عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "ألحقوا الفرائض بأهلها، (فما) (١) بقي فهو لأولى رجل (٢) " (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Give the inheritances to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains, it is for the nearest male relative."
Hadith 33212
٣٣٢١٢ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن رجل من أهل المدينة عن محمد بن يحيى بن حبان عن عمه واسع بن حبان قال: كان ثابت بن الدحداح رجلًا أتيا يعني طارئًا، وكان في بني أنيف أو في بني العجلان، فمات ولم يدع وارثا إلا ابن أخته أبا لبابة بن عبد المنذر، فأعطاه النبي ﷺ ميراثه (١).
Hazrat Wasi’ ibn Hibban narrates that Thabit ibn Dahdah (may Allah be pleased with him) was a stranger who lived in the area of Banu Anif or Banu Ajlan. When he passed away, he left no heir except his nephew, whose name was Lubabah ibn Abd al-Mundhir. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave his inheritance to him.
