Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Shu’bah says that I asked Hazrat Hakam and Hazrat Hammad about a free man and a slave who collided with each other and both died. Both of them said: In any case, the blood money of the free man is not upon the slave, and as for the blood money of the slave, it will be obligatory upon the family of the free man.
