Narrations Regarding Reminding of Favors
Hadith 28289
٢٨٢٨٩ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن مجاهد وسالم ابن أبي الجعد عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا يدخل الجنة منان" (١).
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The one who reminds others of his favors will not enter Paradise.
Hadith 28290
٢٨٢٩٠ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن يعلى بن عطاء قال: سمعت نافع ابن عاصم يحدث عن عبد اللَّه بن عمرو قال: لا يدخل (حظيرة) (١) القدس منان (٢).
Hazrat Nafi' bin Asim narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The one who reminds others of his favors will not enter Paradise.
Hadith 28291
٢٨٢٩١ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن علي بن مدرك عن أبي زرعة عن خرشة بن الحر عن أبي ذر عن النبي ﷺ[قال: "ثلاثة لا يكلمهم اللَّه يوم القيامة ولا ينظر إليهم ولا يزكيهم ولهم عذاب أليم"، (قال) (١): فقرأها رسول اللَّه ﷺ] (٢) ثلاث مرات، فقال أبو ذر: خابوا وخسروا، من هم يا رسول اللَّه؟ قال: "المسبل والمنان والمنفق سلعته بالحلف الكاذب" (٣).
Hazrat Abu Dharr narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are three persons whom Allah, the Lord of Honor, will neither speak to on the Day of Resurrection, nor look at them with mercy, nor purify them, and for them there will be a painful punishment. The narrator says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated this statement three times. Hazrat Abu Dharr said: They are ruined and at a loss. O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Who are those people? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who lets his lower garment hang below his ankles, the one who reminds others of his favors, and the one who sells his goods by means of a false oath.
Hadith 28292
٢٨٢٩٢ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن منصور عن (سالم بن أبي الجعد عن) (١) ⦗٥٠٤⦘ نبيط بن (شريط) (٢) عن (جابان) (٣) عن عبد اللَّه بن (عمرو) (٤) قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا يدخل الجنة منان" (٥).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person who reminds others of his favors will not enter Paradise.
